Before trying to explain what diversity or unity means, let us see why deep-rooted people in knowledge and useful understanding at that seriously believe that God’s will has made everything perfect in its kind and for a specific purpose.
“O prophet! Looking at the mountains today, you think they are solidly fixed while they will move at resurrection as clouds move. Such is God’s act who has made everything perfect. Surely He is All-Aware of what you do.” 27: 88
وتري الجبال تحسبهاجامده وهي تمرٌمرٌالسحاب، صنع الله الذي اتقن كلٌ شيء، انهٌ خبيربماتفعلون,
In a word, unity in diversity means different things work together in an artistic form for one specific purpose. On the other hand, diversity in unity means different things drive from one specific thing. The deep-rooted in knowledge and possessors of helpful intelligence at that, remember God when standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides. They seriously think about the creation of the heavens and earth and the alteration of night and day, and astonishingly say, ‘Our Lord! You have not created all those in vain. Glory is due to you only, and save us from the painful torment of the Fire. 3: 190, 191
انٌ في خلق السموات والارض واختلاف اليل والنهارلأيات لاولي الباب،الذين يذكرون الله قياماَو قعوداَوعلي جنوبهم ويتفكروٌن في خلق السموات والارض،ربُناماخلقت هذاباطلاََسبحانك فقناعذاب النار.
They believe that diversity in unity and unity in diversity are nothing but the result of the creativity and planning of an Omnipotent and Omniscient God.
On the contrary, naturalists believe that all phenomena are under the control of natural laws. But when they see different organs develop from one fertilized egg under one absolute living condition, and they have nothing to say to prove their idea, resort to non sense hypothetical theories, so you will see their books are silent in this regard. Embryologists dealing with embryos, like agriculturists producing crops see clearly that different things with various shapes, sizes, functions and natures develop from one thing, despite this they conclude they are under natural selection. Because they do not believe in a Supernatural force, and do not have helpful knowledge to see the reality, so they do not go further to realize that God is really behind all these differentiations. But they resort to non-sense hypothetical guess works, because they have not enough insight to help them to see the truth of creationism.
Observing the following revelations may make clear some of these dark points:
“There are adjacent plots on earth such as vineyard, crop-field, male and female date-palms in one or separate plant. Though they are watered and cared exactly the same, We give priority to some of them over others for eating. Surely in this, there are signs for people who apply their intelligence. 13: 4
وفي الارض قطع متجاورات وجنات من اعناب وزرع ونخيل صنوان وغيرصنوان‘يسقي بماءواحد و‘نفضٌل بعضهاعلي بعض في الاكل،انٌ في ذلك لأيات لقوم يعقلون.
“Did disbelievers not realize that the heavens and the earth used to be one solid mass and We tore both apart? And We made water in a specific condition to make life possible from it. Why do they not believe then”? 21, 30
اولم يرالذين كفرواانٌ السموات والارض كانتارتقاففتقناهما،وجعلنامن الماء كلٌ شيئ حي،افلايؤمنون.
In this section of revelation, there is a piece of evidence for diversity in unity. It would say that the origin of the heavens and the earth was one solid mass from which many totally different things such as sun, earth, and moon come into play for one purpose only, that is, to serve human beings. This is referred to us as unity in diversity
“And Allah has created every moving creature from water. Some creep upon their bellies, others walk on two legs, and some walk on four. Allah creates whatever He wills. Most surely, Allah has power over everything. 24: 45
والله خلق كلٌ دابهٌ من ماء،فمنهم يمشي علي بطنه،ومنهم يمشي علي رجلين ومنهم يمشي علي اربع، يخلق الله مايشاء، انٌ الله علي كلٌ شيئ قدير.
These verses and as many as 100 others are good examples for diversity in unity and vice versa. The main purpose of all these revelations throughout the Qur'an is to make sure that God makes different things with various qualities from one thing and under one condition just for one specific purpose. Here are some other examples:
“They said that Allah has taken a son. God is far above what they describe Him. Yet, to Him belongs everything in the heavens and the earth and everything, including Jesus (AS), is obedient to Him.” 2: 116
وقالوااتخذالله ولداسبحانه، بل له مافي السموات والارض، كل له قانتون.
In this example of diversity and unity, God, the most High would say that He has made all kinds of people from one pair of parents (Adam & Eve) to serve and obey Him alone, and Jesus born from Mary couldn’t be an exception to the rule.
“Allah is He who created the seven heavens and the same number of earths. Commands flow among them to let you know that Allah surely has power over all things and surely Allah encompasses all things with knowledge.” 65: 12
الله الذي خلق سبع سموات ومن الارض مثلهنٌ،يتنزلٌ الامربينهنٌ لتعلمواانٌ الله علي كلٌ شيئ قديروانٌ الله قد احاط بكل شيئ علما.
“He legislated the laws of religion to you the same as He entrusted to Noah and what We reveal to you and what We entrusted to Abraham, Moses and Jesus is to establish the religion and not be divided in it.” 42: 13
شرع لكم ماوصيٌ به نوحاوالذي اوحينااليك وماوصيناٌ به ابراهيم وموسي وعيسي ان اقيمواالدين ولا تتفرقوافيه.
This is another example of diversity in unity to send different prophets to guide their own people to one religion and lead them to serve one God only.
“You must not call beside God any other god. There is no god save Him. Everything perishes except His presence. To Him belongs all judgments and to Him you will be returned.” 28: 88
ولاتدع مع الله الهاأخر،لااله الاٌ هوكلٌ شيئ هالك الاٌوجهه، له الحكم واليه ترجعون.
In another example, all people of every ethnic group must be returned to one God, after being instructed by different prophets sent from the same God.
At the end of chapter 36 of the Holy Quran, God, the most High has specified three kinds of creations. Looking briefly at anything, we think it is plainly created. But looking more deeply, we will find that His creation is not a plain creation but mixed with knowledge. Realizing the diversity of creation in every single species (creativity or creationism) proves that His most creative of creation is associated with unlimited wisdom and overflowing power.
اولم يرالانسان اناُخلفناه من نطفه فاذاهوخصيم مبين، وضرب لنامثلاونسي خلقه، قال من‘يحي العظام وهي رميم،قل‘يحيهاالذي انشأهااولٌ مرٌه وهوبكلٌ خلق عليم. اوليس الذي خلق السموات والارض بقادرعلي ان يخلق مثلهم،بلي وهوالخلاقٌ العليم.
An inexperienced child may once hit any target by chance, but it would be very unlikely to hit the same target again and again. If nature, for instance, could randomly make a living thing from non-living thing in maleness, can it possibly make again exactly the same thing but in femaleness by chance? It is hard to believe it unless an omniscient and omnipotent force is at work. We know now that man and every other creature are created in pairs, this would be the strongest proof that the creator of the world must be the most powerful and knowledgeable. Because man is very limited in power, knowledge, thought and other qualifications, he cannot be his own creator. If he were his own creator, he would have made himself perfect. Since he is not perfect at all, he cannot be his own creator. How can then an unconscious and unintelligent nature make man with some conscience and intelligence? Can a dead body give birth to a living baby? Can we expect a dead tree produces fruits? Therefore a man of some thought and intelligence could not be made or invented by an unintelligent nature either.
Far above our description is He who made all things in pairs of what the earth produces, of themselves, and of what they even do not know yet. 36: 36
سبحان الذي خلق الازواج كلهٌامما‘تنبت الارض ومن انفسهم وممٌالايعلمون.
Creating or arranging all things, including each atom, in set of two (male & female, positive & negative) is a master piece of creation. That is why God has started this verse with the word of (Sobhaan) glorification. Each atom as the smallest unit of an element consists of a central section of positive charge surrounded by peripheral segment of electron with negative charge. The only exception to this everywhere rule is the presence of God.
Nothing can be found to be absolutely unique in every respect but God who is the One and the only One. Therefore no one can describe Him but Himself, as He did the best ever in one chapter known as the unity. “Say, ‘He is Allah, the One and the only One. Allah is He upon whom all depend. Never did He beget, nor was He begotten. And none equals Him. In fact, the last two verses describe the quality of the second verse." Chapter 112
1-قل هوالله احد،2- الله الصمد،3- لم يلد ولم يولد،4- ولم يكن له كفوااحد.
And He made all fruits in pairs on earth. 13, 3
ومن كلٌ الثمرات جعل فيهازوجين اثنين.
As for the heaven, We made it with our power and We are its expander. As for the earth, We spread it out, and what an excellent is the Spreader. And We made everything in pairs that you may reflect. 51, 47-49
والسماء بنيناهاباييدواناٌلموسعون، والارض فرشناهافنعم الماهدون،ومن كل شيئ خلقنازوجين لعلكم تذكرون.
“Were they created from nothing? Or are they their own creators? 52, 35
ام‘خلقوامن غيرشيئ، ام هم الخالقون؟
Other interpretations applicable to this revelation are as follows:
1-Were they created without any plan or goal? Or were they created without reckoning? “Truly they were hoped there would be no reckoning, so they utterly rejected our revelations.” 78: 27, 28
2-“Does man take into consideration that he will be left to wander in vain? 75: 36
3-“Did you take into consideration that We certainly created you in vain and certainly you will not return to Us?” 23: 115
1-انهمٌ كانوا لايرجون حساباوكذبوا بأياتناكذاباٌٌ.
2-ايحسب الانسان ان يترك سدي؟
3-افحسبتم انماٌ خلقناكم عبثاوانكمٌ الينالايرجعون؟
“How should the Originator of the heavens and earth have a son when He never had a consort, while He has created all things and He has full knowledge of all things? There is no god but He, this is your God, your Lord the Creator of all things. Therefore serve Him only, because He is the trustee for everything, so everybody should entrust Him. 6: 101, 102
بديع السموات والارض ،انيٌ يكون له ولدولم تكن له صاحبه،وخلق كلٌ شيئ وهوبكل شيئ عليم.ذلكم الله ربكم، لااله الاٌ هو،خالق كلٌ شيئ فاعبدوه، وهوعلي كلٌ شيئ وكيل.
2-God’s creation mixed with knowledge:
When man knows that how sophisticated, harmonious, meticulous and well-balanced is his body, yet the creation of his body is noting, comparing with that of the heavens and earth; he would then appreciate the greatness of his creator and realize his own insignificance. Therefore, he would never take pride, disobey, or disqualify his Lord but to serve Him only.
People should know that the creation of the heavens and the earth is much greater than the creation of them, yet most people do not know. 40, 57
لخلق السموات والارض اكبرمن خلق الناس ولكنٌ اكثرالناس لايعلمون.
Are you more difficult to be created or the heaven which He has built? He raised its ceiling and put it into order. He made its night dark and pulled out its day visible. After that, He unrolled the earth, and pulled out its water and pasture from it. He anchored its mountains to provide life-support for you and your cattle. 79: 27-33
ءانتم اشدٌخلقاام السماء بناها؟رفع سمكهافسويهاةاغطش ليلهاواخرج ضحيها،والارض بعدذلك دحيها، اخرج منهاماءهاومرعيها،والجبال ارسيها،متاعالكم ولانعامكم.
When Moses came to the meeting-point and His Lord talked to him, he said, ‘O Lord! Let me look at you. He replied, ‘you never see Me but look at the mountain, if it remains firmly in its place, then you will see Me. But when He manifested Himself to the mountain, He made it into dust and Moses fell down unconscious. When he came to, said, ‘Glory is due to you and I turn I to You in repentance and I am the most convinced believer. 7, 143
ولماٌجاءموسي لميقاتناوكلمٌه ربه،قال رب ارني انظراليك،قال لن تريني ولكن انظرالي الجبل فان استفرٌمكانه فسوف تريني،فلماٌتجليٌ ربه للجبل جعله دكاٌوخرٌموسي صعقا،فلماافاق فال سبحانك،‘تبت اليك وانااول المومنين
The master of monists, Ali (AS) said, ‘Creating man is the greatest proofs of God over His creatures. The silhouette which He made by His power is nothing but a brief copy of the Preserved Sheet. Do you think then you are simply a small mass, while a great world is hidden within you, and you are that clear book with each of whose word a great secret will reveal. Your sickness is within you of which you are not aware, and your remedy is also within yourself of which you do not know.
انٌ صوره الانسانيه هي اكبرحجج الله علي خلقه، وهي الهيكل الذي بناه بقدرته، وهي نسخه المختصره من اللوح المحفوظ،اتزعم انك جرم صغيرـوفيك انطوي عالم الاكبروا،وانت الكتاب المبين الذي باحرفه يظهر المضمروا،دوائك فيك وما‘تشعروا،ودائك فيك وما‘تبصرواز
Man as well as his characters has been described throughout the Qur'an in some 65 cases, but God consolidated it in the chapter 76 known as “The human”. The same is true that the hypocrites are described everywhere in the Qur'an, but it is combined in the unit 63 known as “The hypocrites” The same is correct that we see all three kinds of creations consolidated in the following verse.
“He is Allah; the Creator of all, the fashioner to distinguish their characters from each other, and the designer to exactly identify them from one another. To Him belong the most beautiful names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth praises Him. And He is the Almighty, All-Wise.” 59: 24
هوالله الخالق الباريء المصورٌ، له الاسماء الحسني، يسبحٌ له مافي السموات والارض، وهوالعزيزالحكيم.
First He creates human beings with general characteristics such as internal and external organs to tell them human. When fashioning them with distinguishing characters, we can tell them apart in contact with each other, so He is Fashioner. But when designing them with specific design such as fingerprint and DNA, there is no way to mistake one for another in judgmental cases.
Self-knowledge is one of the securest means for man to know his creator. The more one knows himself, the more he will learn about the creator. It is not unduly that God repeatedly has recommended us to consider our body. This is because our body is overfilled with instructive lessons.
“Was he not a seed from ejaculated semen? Then he was Alaqah of which God created and put into order. And He made him a pair of male and female. 75: 37- 39
الم يك نطفه من منيٌ‘يمني؟ ثم كان علقه فخلق فسويٌ، فجعل منه الزوجين الذكروالانثي.
In another revelation, He stipulated that He made male and female from ejaculated semen. “Indeed, He created both male and female from a seed of ejaculated semen. 53: 45, 46
وانهٌ خلق الزوجين لذكروالانثي من نطفه اذا‘تمني.
If any species were single in its kind, its generation would disappear after a short while. To keep any species alive and spread out on earth for an appointed term designed by God, necessarily it must be in pair.
“We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is in between them but for a true reason and an appointed term. Yet disbelievers rejected all that they were warned. 46: 3
ماخلقناالسموات والارض ومابينهماالٌابالحق واجل مسميٌ والذين كفرواعمٌا‘انذروامعرضون.
When one realizes that every single organ of his own body has its own specific life span, he will admit with no wonder why dinosaurs no longer exist while they were dominant during Mesozoic era. According to the will of our Creator, skin cells live only 24-36 hours, platelet cells live 7 days, red blood cells live 120 days, and nerve cells live life time. God’s far-reaching wisdom has planned that skin cells should be replaced every 36 hours to resist well against all pathogenic microorganisms of our ambience. Red blood cells should bear all different stages from large stem cells, at the bone marrow, to become the smallest cells to pass easily through capillaries without making any problem. During their successive course, stem cells should lose their nuclei to be easily pliable. Meanwhile they become biconcave to increase their surface area to uptake more oxygen while they are too tiny for passing through capillaries and carrying oxygen to all tissues. They should also retain hemoglobin in order to carry oxygen from the lungs to different tissues. That is why their life cycle will be long. In contrast, nerve cells should remain without replication because the space of the skull has a limited room for the brain and its vessels. Additionally, to protect the brain cells, the blood-brain-barrier (BBB) prevents many substances to cross the capillary walls back and forth, including the dead body of previous nerve cells. Therefore nerve cells must not replicate in their life time in order not to endanger the brain centers.
Since there are reasons behind every organ in our body, for this and many other purposes, God must be the only Creator and Planner of the whole world, and natural law, of its own, has no role in this regard.
One of His proofs is that He created you from dust, when you become producing humans (Male and female), you will multiply throughout the earth. 30, 20
ومن أياته ان خلقكم من تراب ثم اذاانتم بشرتنتشرون.
3-Diversity in most creative creation associated with wisdom and unlimited power:
“Why do they not reflect in themselves to see that God has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them but for the truth and for an appointed term? 30, 8
اولم يتفكروافي انفسهم ماخلق الله السموات والارض ومابينهماالابالحق واجل مسمي؟
The habitual practice of the Qur'an is to conclude unknowns from the known. When we notice that many things mentioned in this verse regarding heavens and earth are exactly the same that we have found in our body thanks to physiology and biology, we must conclude that God’s revelations are nothing but true facts. Scientific points have shown that every single organ of our body has a special life term and each of them has specific reason for its presence. For instance skin cells must cover our body entirely to protect us against all pathogenic microorganisms, prevent the loss of water, mask the internal fetid smell, impede internal corruption, and for many other reasons. Shaking apple tree makes apples’ skin get hurt by falling down, and soon they will rot from that skin point. Therefore, skin cells’ life span must be very short to stay young and active to commit all their duties all times. Meanwhile nerve cells’ life span is life time, because the skull has no extra room for nerve cells to replicate repeatedly.
“And there are signs in the earth for those who are certain as well as in your own self, don’t you see? And your provision and what you are promised are in the heaven. And by the Lord of the heaven and earth it is very true just as you speak.” 51: 20-23
وفي الارض أيات للموقنين وفي انفسكم، افلاتبصرون؟ وفي السماء رزقكم وماتوعدون، فورب السماء والارض انهٌ لحقٌ مثل ماانكمٌ تنطقون.
Green plants by their chlorophyll capture the electromagnetic energy of the sun-light to convert it into chemical energy such as glucose. This mechanism is referred to as photosynthesis. Although this mechanism is necessary for all green plants to grow and bear fruits, the classification of each species is so diversified that they cannot use it equally because of the variation of their chlorophyll. This slight variation of chlorophyll which cannot be detected by eyes but by a cold spell persuades thinkers to admire and feel with curiosity mixed with wonder about God’s most creative creativity. Why some plants of the same family are short-lived, while others live longer? Why some of them are so sensitive to cold that they will die quickly with the first cold spell, while others resist it well? Why do some of them have shallow root, whereas others have very deep root? Why some plants are deciduous, while others are ever green? And many other questions in this regard.
Due to green plants are the main source of food for human beings and animals, they should be various with different virtues to meet the needs of other heterotrophic beings.
If all plants had the same quality to die at one time, human being who is a heterotrophic being would be suddenly exposed to an intense shortage of food to die too. A man with such a little source of everything knows well that he should not put all his eggs in one basket to risk everything on a single venture. Can we imagine that Compassionate God had not taken care for human’s needs to find a reliable remedy for this problem?
“Should He not know about what He has created, while His is considerate and all- Knowing?” 67: 14
الايعلم من خلق وهواللطيف الخبير.
Therefore, to display His dexterity and compassion, not only has He made various plants, in one given species, but He grew them with different nutritional values, to secure human’s needs as well.
Knowing all those facts very well, yet scientists and scholars would not acknowledge the existence of an Omnipotent, Omniscient God. They think by admitting and believing in God they will lose their fame. Don’t they believe that their knowledge comes from their experiences? Don’t they know that their level of knowledge is a display from God’s knowledge? Do they have any convincing answer to their theories? Are scientists or scholars’ words or ideas steady and precise, or they should change them as time passes? Can they prevent or decisively cure cancer or other incurable diseases? Can they postpone their death? Don’t they know that they need God at any moment? Do they believe that however intelligent they may be, God is more intelligent than them? And do they know the knowledge given to them is a very little?
“We raise the rank of wisdom and knowledge of whomever We please, and above everyone possessed knowledge is the All-Knowing one.” 12: 76
نرفع درجات من نشاء وفوق كلٌ ذي علم عليم.
Genetic engineering became routine from 1966, whereas chromosal engineering was practically routine once God created Adam and Eve and their seeds to enable them to have children like themselves. Let us see what the Qur'an has revealed in this respect.
“We created you, why do you not accept the truth? Have you ever seen what you emit? Did you create it or We are the creator? 56: 57-59
نحن خلقناكم فلولاتصدقون؟ افرايتم ماتمنون؟ ءانتم تخلقونه ام نحن الخالقون؟
Thanks to advanced technology, astronauts can navigate in space and they have chance to see the wonders of the other world but they would not acknowledge the presence of a Supernatural God. Surely, they know that if they were to supply fuel for a round trip in space, they would never be able to do that. That is because the spacecraft would be immoderately weighty, their expenses would be extreme, and the equipments for maintenance would be excessive. Thus the continuation of research would not be cost-effective but exhaustive. But by the grace of God, they are only in charge of the original fuel for launching the spacecraft to take it out of the earth’s atmosphere. And for the rest of this trip, solar energy comes to their help them to continue their researches, and come back to earth.
“O you Jinn and man! If you can penetrate beyond the limits of the heavens and earth, go ahead and penetrate. But you can never penetrate without Our authority and help. 55: 33
يامعشرالجن والانس ان استطعتم ان تنفذوامن اقطارالسموات والارض فانفذوا،لاتنفذون الابسلطان.
“If We open a gate into the heaven for unbelievers, and they keep climbing into it, still they would say by their resistance, ‘Our eyes were dazzled; truly, we must be fascinated. 15: 15, 16
ولوفتحناعليهم بابامن السماء فظلٌوافيه يعرجون، لقالواانماٌ‘سكرٌت ابصارنابل نحن مسحورون.
“And how many signs in the heavens and the earth will move over them continuously, but they turn back to them heedlessly, and overwhelming of them will believe in God only if they accept other things besides God.” 12: 105, 106
وكاينٌ من أيه في السموات والارض يمروٌن عليهاوهم عنها‘معرضون،وما‘يؤمن اكثرهم بالله وهم مشركون.
Through very difficult operations, J.B.Gurdon, a molecular biologist demonstrated that absolutely identical cells in the stage of Morula, coming from one fertilized egg, retain all the genes necessary for normal development of an entire organism. But geneticists think that messenger RNA should use selectively the required genes as blueprint for transcription and making identical cells differentiated. They think that a chemical substance such as steroid hormone should promote the transcription of certain genes and block some others for differentiation. But it is not mentioned from where this chemical comes from, how this chemical is directed to fertilized egg, and how steroid can select which gene should be promoted or blocked to make a specific organ. Does steroid have consciousness or knowledge to select any gene? You see that they are at the end of the rope while they have no right answer unless to admit God’s will in any sort of creation.
After such a brief presentation about the three kinds of creations, let us turn to the original topic of diversity in unity and unity in diversity.
A short while after a male and female seed join one another, a fertilized egg replicates exponentially with the second power. That is, cells duplicate at each time of replication. In other words, one fertilized egg becomes two, two cells turn into four, and four become eight, and so forth until the voluminous space of the female egg becomes full of absolutely identical cells. Since the aspect of such cells look like a lump of chewed meat, it is called (Mozgeh). According to the Holy Quran, this stage that cells have no differentiation and none can tell exactly which group of cells give rise to which organ is called (non-forming chewed meat). At the next stage, the aspect of a solid ball of small cells changes into Blastula with a cavity in the middle, and an outer layer and an inner cell mass. At this stage, the outer layer makes chorion which contributes to the placenta. And inner mass makes three layers of ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm, as well as amnion. How can scientists believe that embryonic cells automatically contribute to different layers as well as chorion and amnion, while nothing has changed in the womb of mother? At this stage that we are able to tell exactly which group of cells makes which organ is called (Forming chewed meat) according to the Holy Quran.
“O mankind! If you doubt about resurrection, consider that We first created you from dust, then from a living seed, then from a (leech-like, hanging and seriously attached) embryo; then from a non-forming and forming chewed meat to demonstrate Our power. And We will settle in the womb whomever We will for an appointed term, then We bring you out as an infant.” 22: 5
ياايهاالناس ان كنتم في ريب من البعث فاناٌ خلقناكم من تراب ثمٌ من نطفه ثمٌ من علقه ثمٌ من مضغه مخلقه وغيرمخلقه لنبيٌن لكم و‘نقرُفي الارحام مانشاء الي اجل مسميٌ ثمٌ ‘نخرجكم طفلا.
If naturalists and scholars attribute all phenomena to natural causes and effects, how can they justify that nature can make identical cells differentiated, while all embryonic cells are absolutely settled in one living condition?
The most notorious example is even in the division and subdivision of ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm which make totally different organs in every respect. The skin and nerve cells, for instance, derive from ectoderm, whereas the life-span, frame work, and the shape of the skin cells are, absolutely different from those of nerve cells, so that no similarity will be found between them.
Mesoderm makes muscles, bones and circulatory system. Do we exactly know what factor is behind this kind of differentiation other than the will of God? Do scholars have right answer that who branch the immune system from circulatory system to separate it into multiple sub-divisions from circulatory system?
The most conspicuous examples of unity in diversity could be demonstrated through this case that different organs of the body drive from one fertilized egg which referred to as diversity in unity. But all these various organs work seriously and mutually to keep our body alive, so it is unity in diversity.
And diversity in unity, as the following revelations confirms means all men of any ethnic group should serve one God who is the Lord of the universe.
“O men! Serve your Lord who created you and those who were before you, so that you may guard yourself against evil. God is the one who made the earth as a blanket and the heaven as a canopy, and sent down from the heaven a kind of water by which to bring forth all fruits as your sustenance. Thus do not set up any associate with God, while you know. 2: 23
ياايهاالناس اعبدواربكم الذي خلقكم والذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون. الذي جعل لكم الارض فراشا والسماء بناء انزل , من السماء ماء فاخرج به من الثمرات رزقالكم،فلاتجعلوا لله انداداوانتم تعلمون.
The second evidence stipulates that God has made water extraordinarily unusual to be the main source of life for all living things. That is why ¾ of the earth and living things as well as vegetables is made of water. Evidently water must be crucial, because before the creation of the world, when nothing was there, God’s throne of authority was upon it.
Water makes an unusual solid ice to be less dense to stay on top to insulate and delay the rest of any body water to freeze, if not, ¾ of living-organism present on earth would die during the winter because of water freeze, and living organisms on land would face with the scarce of water and marine organisms.
Human beings and animals are heterotrophic organisms to be fed on other organisms, while green plants are autotrophic organisms (Self feeder) to feed on themselves by their photosynthesis. During daylight, green plants receive water which comes from heaven, and carbon dioxide (Energy- poor reactant) to make glucose and oxygen (Energy-rich products) under the direct effect of sun-light. 6CO2+6H2O+light energy =C6H12O6+6O2. Thus photosynthesis converts the electromagnetic energy of sunlight into chemical energy in the form of glucose and oxygen. And when human beings or animals eat plants’ products such as leaves, fruits, flowers, seeds, and even their roots, they directly receive the energy of the sun.
Therefore, we must not be ungrateful to God but show our deep gratitude to Him for all His compassion, generosity, and full consideration to set everything in the best place for letting us have a life full of comfort on earth. That is why God has revealed two opposite statements. On the one hand, He reminds us that we are all in dire need of Him, so we have to show our sincere gratitude; and on the other hand, He warns us not to be ungrateful by our undue arrogance. “O people! All of you need God, while God is absolutely self-sufficient, praiseworthy. 35:15
ياايهاالناس انتم الفقراء الي الله والله هوالغنيٌ الحميد.
“O man! What deceived you regarding your Generous Lord who first created you, then put you in right order, then after adjusted between your function and desire, and finally made you in whatever form He willed?” 82: 6-8
ياايهاالانسان ماغرٌك بربكٌ الكريم، الذي خلقك فسويٌك فعدلك، في ايٌ صوره ماشاء ركٌبك؟
“Say, ‘Do you disbelieve in Him who created the earth in two periods of time? And do you make equal to Him? This is the Lord of the universe who set towering mountains above it, and blessed it to provide its sustenance proportionately for four seasons, alike for all food applicants? 41: 9, 10
قل أئنٌكم لتكفرون بالذي خلق الارض في يومين وتجعلون له اندادا؟ذلك رب العالمين.وجعل فيها رواسي من فوقهاوبارك فيهاوقدرٌفيهااقواتهافي اربعه اياٌم سواءَ للسائلين.
Studying the following issues indicate that God is absolutely right in His claim and we definitely need Him at any moment of our life, so we have to be grateful to Him for what He has done for all of us.
The Glorious God has prepared everything for us, but it is our duty to use them appropriately according to His command. That is to collect our crops, eat them within reasonable limits, and avoid extremes, according to the Devine rules. We need foot to walk and reach us foods. We also need hand to grab foods and put in our mouth. Our hands and feet are made of many different organs to work properly their jobs. If there is any defect in any of bones, muscles, joints, vein and artery, motor or sensory nerves; we fail to bring food to our mouth. We need all kinds of teeth to chew foods well and mix with saliva to pass them easily through a narrow passage until foods get into digestive system. In this system we need many other things to able to digest and absorb foods to get enough energy for work and stand before creator to thank for all those who granted us.
Another aspect of God’s blessings which truly make us incumbent to praise Him only is His 14 different kinds of favors promulgated within this series of revelation.
“Say Praise is due to God only, and peace is due to His servants whom He has chosen. Is God the worthiest or what people associate with Him?” 27:59
1-“Truly the worthiest is He who created the heavens and the earth, sent down water from the sky for you, and brought forth gardens of beauty, while it was not your job to make their trees grow. How is there any god besides God? No, but they are deviant people.” 27: 60
2-“Truly the worthiest is He who made the earth a resting-place, set rivers running through it, established mountains upon it, and made a barrier between the two bodies of water. How is there any god besides God? No, but most of them do not know.” 27: 61
3-“Truly the worthiest is He who answers a destitute when he calls upon Him, relieves his adversity and makes you the inheritors of the earth. How is there any god besides God? No but how little is who remember?” 27:62
4-“Truely the worthiest is H who guides you in the darkness of land and sea, and sends winds as a herald of His mercy. How is there any god besides God? Exalted is God above what they associate with Him.” 27: 63
5-“Truely the worthiest is He who initiates the creation, then restores it, and provides you provision from the heaven and earth. How is there any god besides God? Say, ‘show your proof if only you are truthful.”27: 64
قل الحمد لله وسلام علي عباده الذين اصطفي، ءالله خيرامٌا‘يشركون؟
1-امنٌ خلق السموات والارض وانزل لكم من السماء ماء فانبتنابه حدائق ذات بهجه ماكان لكم ان‘تنبتوا شجرهااءله مع الله، بل هم قوم يعدلون.
2- امٌن جغل الارض قرارا،وجعلخلالهاانهارا،وجعل لهارواسي،وجعل بين البحرين حاجزا،اءله مع الله، بل اكثرهم لايعلمون.
3- امٌن‘يجيب المضطراذادعاه ويكشف السوء،ويجعلكم خلفاء الارض،اءله مع الله،قليلاماتذكرون.
4- امنٌ يهديكم في ظلمات البررٌوالبحرومن‘يرسل الرياح بين يدي رحمته،اءله مع الله، تعالي الله عما ‘يشركون.
5- امٌن يبدؤاالخلق ثم‘يعيده ومن يرزقكم من السماء والارض،اءله مع الله،قل هاتوابرهانكم ان كنتم صادقين.
Let us pray consciously and seriously.
1- O Allah! Truly, I ask you by blessing Mohammad, a prophet of your mercy and a word of your light, feel:
My heart with the light of certainty,
My chest with the light of faith,
My thought with the light of good intentions,
My decision with the light of knowledge,
My power with the light of good work,
My tongue with the light of sincerity,
My faith with the insight of yours,
My eyes with the light upon light,
My ears with the light of wisdom,
And finally feel my love with the light of friendship for Mohammad and his family until I meet you.
اللهمٌ انيٌ اسئلك ان تصليٌ علي محمدٌنبيٌ رحمتك وكلمه نورك وان تملاء قلبي نوراليقين، وصدري نور الايمان، وفكري نورالنياتٌ، وعزمي نورالعلم، وقوتيٌ نورالعمل، ولساني نورالصدق، وديني نورالبصائرمن عندك، وبصري نورالضياء، وسمعي نورالحكمه، ومودتيٌ نورالموالاة لمحمد وأله عليهم السلام حتي الاك.
2-O Allah! I truly ask you for a useful knowledge, a humble heart, a healing certainty, a pure action, a comely patience, and a great reward.
اللهمٌ انيٌ اسئلك علماَ نافعا، وقلباَخاشعا، ويقيناَشافيا، وعملازاكيا، وصبراَجميلا، واجراَجزيلا.
3-O Allah! By blessing Mohammad and his family, protect me with chastity, let my tongue speak with wisdom, put me of those who regret of what they forfeited yesterday, are not cheated in their good luck of today, and do not mind the daily bread of tomorrow.
اللهمٌ صلٌ علي محمدٌ وأل محمدٌ، وايدٌني بالعصمه، وانطق لساني بالحكمه، واجعلني ممن يندم علي ماضيغهٌ في امسه، ولايغبن حظهٌ في يومه، ولايهمٌ رزق غده.
4-O Allah! You commanded us but we disobeyed, you prohibited us but we concluded, you reminded us but we had each other forget, you made us see but we made one another blind, you warned us but we exceeded, and this is not right to us to return your charity like this, while you know the best of what we make known or secret, and you are more informed of what we bring and what we brought.
اللهمٌ انكٌ امرتنافعصينا، ونهيت فمانتهينا، وذكرٌت فتناسينا، وبصرٌت فتعامينا، وحذرتٌ فتعديٌنا، وماكان ذلك جزاء احسانك اليناوانت اعلم بمااعلناواخفيناواخبربماناتي وماأتينا.
5-O Allah! By blessing Mohammad and his family, inspire me whatever knowledge incumbent upon me, and gather within me all that knowledge completely, and make me successful to put into practice what you have shown me, lest I fail to act anything you have taught me, and do not make my limbs heavy to perform what you have inspired me.
اللهمٌ صلٌ علي محمدٌ وأله والهمني علم مايجب عليٌ الهاما، واجمعلي علم ذلك كلهٌ تماما، ثمٌ استعملني بماتلهمني منه، ووفقنيٌ للنفوذ فيماتبصرنٌي من علمه، حتي لايفوتني استعمال شيئ علمتنيهٌ، ولاتثقل اركاني عن الحفوف فيماالهمتنيه.
