The formation of embryo in the Qur’an
To advertise and inform about their sophisticated products, manufacturers routinely publish a guidebook to provide their customers with inevitable instructions to help them to use their newly purchased item correctly. The same is very true about the Qur’an as the lasting and perpetual miracle of Mohammad (Peace be upon him and his family). This scripture, arranged and revealed by God, is sent through Gabriel to Mohammad, God’s servant and messenger. Even with all these in mind, Mohammad (An illiterate person), (peace be upon him and his family), had no share in editing of such a unique manuscript but to proclaim it loudly and widely to all human beings. This scripture, all the way through, is revealed in a marvelous rhythm during 23 years which makes it impossible for man to do it, let alone an illiterate man. At the dawn of Islam this manuscript made officially known that it is revealed to all human beings for ever, as Jesus (AS) claimed in the book of John, chapter 14. In this chapter, like other chapters of this book, what Jesus (AS) has described about Counselor is absolutely applicable to the specifications of Mohammad( peace be upon him and his family), though his name is misnamed to Counselor. Jesus (AS) said, “ I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you for ever. These things I have spoken to you, while I am still with you. But the Counselor endorsed by the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Therefore, his book should contain everything from A to Z to meet what human beings need. That is why this book should differ from other counterparts in many respects. Therefore God has described it this way, “Indeed, this is a mighty book revealed from an all-Wise and Praiseworthy within which falsehood could enter neither in the past nor in the future.” 41: 42
وانٌه لكتاب عزيز،لايأتيه الباطل من بين يديه ولامن خلفه،تنزيل من حكيم حميد.
The revelation of a variety of scientific issues such as detailed embryology in the Qur’an, when man had no experience of systematic study, but some clinical observations of patients, is very amazing. Meanwhile, we should consider that Qur’an is neither an absolutely religious book for believers, nor a merely scientific book for educated people, nor was it for the time of revelation, nor is it in every detail, but is a synopsis for all human beings to apply it at any time. That is why it challenges not Arab people only but all human beings as well. It calls upon all to engage in a contest to bring a book like this, or just a chapter either small or large similar to it, not for words but for its content and eloquence.
“If you doubt regarding what We have revealed to Our servant, bring then one chapter (Either large or small) like this, while calling your witnesses other than God (Either Arab or non Arab) to assist you, if you are right. And if you failed, and certainly you will fail to do that, then guard yourself against the Fire whose fuel is men and stones prepared for disbelievers." 2: 23, 24
وان كنتم في ريب ممانزلٌناغلي عبدنافاتوابسوره من مثله وادعواشهدائكم من دون الله ان كنتم صادقين. فان لم تفعلواولن تفعلوافاتقواالنارالتي وقدهاالناس والحجاره‘اعدت للكافرين.
This book though is written in a clear Arabic to utter its words, is not to be well-understood and truly interpreted because of the paucity of people’s knowledge and the deepness of its contents. The prophet of Islam, the more distinguished messenger said in this regard, “Its visible nature is pretty for reciting, but its real nature is very deep for understanding.” If its nature was easy to be caught by the first people, subsequent people with higher level of understanding would find it very boring even tedious. That is why God, the most High compelled all His prophets to speak with people in their own native language and in the easiest way to make them understand. Therefore, the Qur’an should be explained to the understanding level of people living in that specific time. This book had brought spiritual comforts and hopes to believers and promised them to know its truths after a while. “It is simply a reminder to the whole world, and you will certainly come to know its truths after a while.” 38: 87, 88
ان هوالاٌ ذكرللعالمين، ولتعلمنٌ نباه بعدحين.
If some educational centers, like the school of Jundi-Shapoor, were there, their studies were simply limited to clinical observations of patients which was very elementary, because they had no tools to confirm their investigation. In other words, Hippocrates, Aristotle and Galen had realized that once a woman after marriage conceives, she ceases to menstruate, while they knew that man had ejaculating semen, so they realized that the semen, the contribution of man, will clot the menstrual blood, the contribution of woman, to form a fetus. Again Galen was an anatomist and he thought that each testicle makes separate sperm, so he said that fetus is the result of the combination of two sperms with menstrual blood. Today, thanks to many tools substantiating our researches, we reject all hypothetical theories as many Freud’s comments have been ruled out. Certainly we know we are not fully knowledgeable, because we call many herbs “Weeds” and we remove them from garden as useless or even harmful herbs. In fact, it is not the case and there is no term as good or bad herbs. If we call them “Bad weeds”, it is because of our lack of knowledge. When we do not know, for example, belladonna or digitalis, and we use them indiscriminately, we would get sick or die, because we are not familiar with them. In His last book, the Almighty God has revealed that He has created nothing for play but for a truth but many people do not know.
“We have not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them for play, We created them for truth but most people do not know.” 44: 38, 39
وماخلقناالسموات والارض ومابينهمالاعبين،ماخلقناهماالابالحق ولكنٌ اكثرالناس لايعلمون.
Westerners, for example, knew nothing about pomegranate, though they have described its size, shape, seeds and favor. But they were unable to speak about its virtues. After being imported into their countries and advertising about it, they knew it just a little. One of the most distinguished spiritual leaders of Islam known as Imam Jafar Sadeq (AS) learned by his forefathers and the prophet described the medicinal virtues of this fruit, while its property was totally unknown to the school of Jundi-shapoor, Imam Sadeq (AS) said, “Eating one pomegranate will keep you healthy for 40 days, and you will be healthy for 80 days if you eat two of them. We now know that the tree of this fruit usually grows and yields fruit of good quality in outskirt of desert area where the weather is dry and the amount of water is less. At present, we know why this fruit was considered as one of the best medicinal fruits in 14 century ago. Since this fruit known as “Seedy apple” with several clusters of pulpy and juicy crimson seeds grows well in water-less area, the value of its vitamin known as bioflavonoid is more concentrated than any other higher plants. Therefore, the yellow, red and blue pigmentation of these groups of vitamins widely distributed in plants maintain the normal state of walls of small blood vessels in our body.
Let us now turn back to the main menu and ask this, if the comments of these physicians and philosophers, living before and after Jesus (AS), were true, why they didn’t leak into the New-Testament? Should man think that his idea is more plausible than God’s word? To begin with, can we compare man-made light with sun-light?
1- Candle’s fuel is consumable; while sun’s energy is inconsumable, because the Almighty God holds the unlimited source of everything, and according to His will, He sends everything in due measure. “We hold the source of everything, and We send it down in due measure. 15: 21
وان من شيئ الاٌعندناخزائنه،وما‘ننزٌله الا بقدرمعلوم.
2-Through unsteady burning, candle provides just a few feet of light, and a little heat but much smoke and soot by burning oxygen which disturbs sensitive people living around. Free from all inconveniences, sun-light has been useful for millions years. Though its light, heat and energy supplied with atomic energy keeps the solar system working well, its damaging effects have been reduced tremendously by being bounced back to space through the ozone layer in the upper part of the earth’s atmosphere. When for the first time the Qur’an was revealed this topic, the most High God has plainly stated that the earth is secure from every insurgent devil (Solar radiation). The following revelations have various confusing explanations, because no one exactly knew its true nature but God who has created this and other systems. Right now we know a little, but in future we will know much more, therefore the explanation of these verses will change as time passes and our understanding improves. According to the present knowledge, this interpretation may be the most straight forward ideas when simple atoms of hydrogen fused to give rise larger atoms of helium to supply the sun with energy. The protective shield of the earth like ozone layer, clouds, Carbon dioxide and water vapor reflect back the solar radiation such as alpha, beta, gamma, X and ultra violet radiations; into space. Let us see what the Qur’an has revealed.
“I swear by those which arrange in columns (Cosmic rays), and those which drive back what they have to restrain (Ozone layers, clouds and Carbon dioxide), and those which follow the commands of God (Everything, including cosmic rays works according to the will of the Lord). Indeed, your Lord is One, the Lord of the heavens, the earth and what is between them and the Lord of many Easts. Actually, We adorned the lowest heaven (The earth’s atmosphere), with the beauty of planets, and We protected the earth (By ozone layer) from every rebellious devil force (Cosmic rays). While they (Cosmic rays) cannot go up to the High Society, they are kicked back from all sides into pace by a repelling force as a perpetual chastisement in order that the earth’s atmosphere become safe. If one of them occasionally thrusts into atmosphere, it will be followed by piercing flame. ”37: 1-10
والصافات صفا،فالزاجرات زجرا،فالتاليات ذكرا،ان الهكم لواحد،رب السموات والارض ومابينهماو رب المشارق، انازيناٌ السماء الدنيابزينه الكواكب وحفظامن كل شيطان مارد.لايسمعون الاالملاء اعلي و‘يقذفون من كل جانب، ىحوراولهم غذاب واصب، الامن خطف الخطفه فاتبعه شهاب ثاقب.
3-Being too weak, candle light would extinguish by a slight blowing, let alone by a strong wind. On the other hand we cannot extinguish the sun-light, can we? But God is powerful enough to extinguish any light we make. The same is true that God can make great thinkers’ perspectives invalid; while they have absolutely no such a power. This is because scientists’ knowledge is acquired through their efforts, experiences and clinical observations which may be incomplete, while God’s knowledge is just part of His nature. “Their example is like those who make great fire; then, as it starts shedding light around, God will take their light away to leave them in total darkness, unable to see.” 2: 17
مثلهم كمثل الذي استوقد نارافلمااضائت ماحوله ذهب الله بنورهم وتركهم في ظلمات لايبصرون.
Since Hippocrates, Aristotle, Galen, and etc were intelligent people, they gained their study only through their observation of aborted specimens they received from pregnant women. Therefore, their realization about different stages of fetus could not be complete, because they had no well-equipped laboratory.
1-Since a tiny fertilized egg aborted a few days after gestation was not distinguishable from other tissues cast off from the uterine wall, so they convinced that coagulated blood was the first stage of fetal growth.
2- At the next stage, the fetus seemed something chewed-like, so they called it Mudga. By no means, Mudga is meat but something chewed-like, such as Mudaga which means chewing gum.
3-At the next stage they realized that some muscles were formed while there was no hard bone, because cartilage was not as hard as bone to be identified. So they missed the stage of cartilage. In fact, both muscle and bone come from mesoderm, so they should come into existence at the same time. Actually, in skeletal muscle-bone interaction, rigid bones should form first to become a fixed fulcrum for skeletal muscles. The firmness of muscles absolutely depends on the presence of bones. Thus, attaching to the bones already made lets muscles contract and relax in sequence to make movement possible. When muscles attach to two bones adjacent to each other through a flexible joint, an effective movement will take place. As a result, cartilages must first appear to be covered by muscles. Since cartilage is not seen on X ray film, they think Qur’anic explanation about bones is totally erroneous. As a matter of fact, cartilage is the very same bone, and the Qur’an is not a classical book to teach every single detail. For such good reason the Qur’an has never spoken of cartilage. Would a builder make a building without a firm foundation, and can we rely on such a building as well? Should we accept that the Omniscient God who has revealed every other surprising point about embryology has made such a big mistake about cartilage?
4-The Almighty God has further explained about Mudga of which neither previous scholars, with their limited knowledge explained about it; nor up-to-date scientists, with more advanced study, could understand what God, the Most High means. If the present science has named the stage of Mudga into 3 separate sub-stages such as, Mudga itself, Blastula and Gastrula; the Qur’an has named it simply into non-creating and creating Mudga. In other words, according to the Qur’an, non-creating Mudga means a stage of embryo in which all cells are absolutely identical like a multiple-fruit of mulberry whose distinct grains are gathered into a whole. Thus it looks like a morsel of chewed meat, while none of cell represents any special tissue. But when its outlook changes tremendously and 3 germ layers come into play in Blastula and Gastrula, yet cells are all identical, indicating ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm. Since these layers indicate which organ they will make in future, while the identification of cells is absolutely identical, the Omniscient God has named it “Creating Mudga”. As a matter of fact, this kind of naming by God has confused scientists. That is why scientists without proof has declared that the Qur’an in this regard is wrong, while this revelation by God is absolutely substantiated. And God, the Most High has aimed two targets with one shot to display His unlimited knowledge and the reality of which scientists could not yet realize after passing 14 centuries.
5-Skeletal muscles by themselves can do nothing, as bones of their own can do nothing either. But the case of cardiac muscle alone and other smooth muscles is absolutely different, because they must contract in full to be able to do their job very effectively. Heart muscle, for instance, should contract all through in systole to drive blood into arteries and relax and dilate in full in diastole to be filled with much blood from veins, and irrigate itself perfectly. If they were associated with bones, they would not be as effective as when they were alone. The same is absolutely true for smooth muscles in bladder, stomach, intestine, uterus, gall-bladder, and in wall of blood vessels to push their contents or circulate blood very efficiently. But bones cannot be found without being covered either by muscle or by subcutaneous tissues. And our experiments in civil or war casualties have demonstrated that if bones exposed to air left open, their nutritive membrane known as periosteum would dry and blacken and they would die shortly.
In summary:
1-Smooth muscles must be alone until their functions are perfect.
2-Skeletal muscles, on the other hand, must be associated with bones until their functions are perfect.
3-Bones must never be alone, they must be invested either by skeletal muscles or subcutaneous tissues, if not, their protective and nutritive membranes will die soon.
I studied very hard to be admitted into medical school because I had heard that our prophet, Mohammad (peace and greeting be upon him and his family) has said two kinds of knowledge are crucial in the life of every body, the knowledge of bodies and the knowledge of religions. So, through a highly competitive test, I entered into medical school to study medicine that may help me to find answers to religious questions not yet responded. After serious study in medicine, orthopedic and general surgery in Iran, France and U.S.A, beginning from 1950 till now, I realized that Islam combined with medicine was the best source to help those who are interested in finding the right answers came up during their medical study. That is why Islam is the only religion which has raised many questions about the creation and encouraged people to think about their own creation in order to find the right answer which they can find nowhere else.
1-Why do they not reflect within themselves to find out that God has not created the heavens, the earth, and all lies between them but for a truth and an appointed term.” 30: 8
اولم يتفكرواٌفي انفسهم ماخلق الله السموات والارض ومابينهماالا بالحق واجل مسمي.
This verse alone feeds us cues for appropriate creation and limited deadline of everything.
Through searching after searching, I realized that not only different species have various deadline, but each single organ of our body, derived from one fertilized egg, has a variety of limited deadline as well. Then it came up to me why each organ has specific deadline of which it was hard to find in medical books. As for the right creation of everything, I found out why our heart beats automatically without being controlled by consciousness, while all skeletal muscles work otherwise. Heart muscle, among other smooth muscles, must beat automatically day and not weather we are conscious or unconscious, or slept or awake, active or inactive to save our body at any moment.
2-And there are proofs for the people of certainty, in their own creation and those animals which God has scattered on earth. 45: 4
وفي خلقكم ومايبثٌ من دابهٌ أيات لقوم يوقنون.
I noticed why God made camels for desert area, while He created large white-furred polar bear and caribou for arctic region. I also noticed for what reasons God made female germ cell as the largest cell in female beings, while red blood cells are the smallest ones. I understood, as an example, why woman’s egg is the biggest cell, but it is not as big as hen’s egg. And again I recognized why hen’s egg is about 100 grams, while ostrich’s egg is about 1500 grams. I realized why the ovary is situated in the pelvis, at the very close range of the oviduct, while testicles are seated outside of the pelvis, whereas their fetal origin was in the chest between the back bone and breast bone. After all, it came up to me that All-Knowing and All-Wise God must be behind of all these plans not anything else.
3-The earth is full of proofs for those who are certain, and within yourself, why don’t you see? 51: 20, 21
وفي الارض أيات للموقنين وفي النفسكم افلا‘تبصرون؟
I found, for instance, why Cremaster muscle which covers testicles is so sensitive to heat, and why three kinds of circular, longitudinal and oblique smooth muscles coat the stomach wall, while the other parts of digestive system are coated by two types of circular and longitudinal fibers. The sensitivity of the Cremaster is to save testicles’ cells. The extra fiber in the stomach coat is to churn food particles into smaller ones to be ready for digestion. The intestinal wall has only two kinds of fiber to make its content more compact and drive it onward. Are they not the plan of the Omnipotent God for the insertion of everything in its proper position? Could we believe that anything other than God is behind cellular differentiation? At the stage of morula, a solid mass in which all cells, known as stem cells, are absolutely identical for the number of chromosomes and the kind of genes. So that no one can guess which cell group would make which organ of the body. But when three specific layers of cells come into play, as the germ layers, yet they are exactly the same; mesoderm, among others, divides into many different things. Muscles derived from mesoderm further divide into three kinds such as skeletal, smooth and heart muscle. In other words, stem cells first divide into three different germ layers, secondly germ layers subdivide into various organs, and subsequently various organs ultra-divide into diversified forms. Who has programmed all these divisions, subdivisions, and ultra-subdivisions other than God, while cells are grown in one place, lived under one condition, and fed by one kind of nutrient?
The Qur’an was considered to be widely comprehensive in its scope. Therefore, scientific topics classified in this book should be arranged so easily to the degree to which the first believers could hold them without problem. As an example, consider that how simply God has itemized food-items for naïve people, not subjected to any previous experiments, to know what kind of food they had to eat. But today educated people know that they should take proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vegetables, herbs, vitamins, and minerals moderately to keep their health. According to the Qur’an “Clean and lawful foods” food for uninformed people was (Free of dirt for cleanness) and (Not pork, nor dead animals, nor alcohol for lawfulness), but today the idea of food cleanness has changed to be free from all kinds of chemicals, hormones, artificial colors, food additives, food substitutes. And the idea of food lawfulness means that foods should neither be gained through unlawful business, nor they should consist of pork, dead animals and wine.
“Let man look at his food. By pouring down the rain in abundance and openly splitting the earth, We grow in it grains, grape, edible herbs, olives, date palms, and orchards dense of fruit trees and pasture which would be the source of life for yourself and your cattle. 80: 24-32
فلينظرالانسان الي طعامه،اناصببناالماء صباٌ وشققناالارض شقاٌ،فانبتنافيهاحباٌوعنباوقضباوحدائق غلباوفاكهه واباٌ،متاعالكم ولانعامكم.
As another example, God has revealed these verses for the first time to His servant Mohammad, peace be upon him and his family. “Proclaim (Announce officially) in the name of your Lord who created man from Alaq. Proclaim that your Lord is the most Generous. It is He who taught what man did not know through pen. 96: 1-5
اقراء باسم ربك الذي خلق،خلق الانسان من علق،اقراءوربك الاكرم،الذي علمٌ بالقلم،علمٌ الانسان مالايعلم.
Before the revelation of these verses, people knew that getting married and being pregnant, women’ menstrual blood would cease. So they realized that the fetus in their belly would be the result of the contribution of ejaculating sperm and menstrual blood. In addition, the prophet was not to talk more than their understanding level. Thus when he was asked about what “Alaq” means, he said “Blood clot” That is why all Arab dictionaries have put “Blood clot” as one of many different shades of Alaq.
Looking up in reliable Arab dictionaries to search for the different shades of (Alaq), we can make the above revelation about “Alaq”, into various statements to see what the people of Mecca would understand and which of the following statements would make sense to them to be accepted in proportion to their limited knowledge. In fact, the word “Alaq” derived from the root of “A-L-Q” has the following meanings:
1-He created man from blood clot,
2- He created man from something working like leech,
3-He created man from something which is suspended,
4-He created man from something which thoroughly sticks,
5-He created man from something which is totally dependent on,
6-He created man from something that keeps its pending,
Having no knowledge of anatomy, physiology and embryology, naïve people could not accept any of the above statements but the first one? Having no idea about embryology, all translators were disqualified to truly explain the word “Alaq”. Since translators had no idea about what “Alaq” really means, they followed each other to put “Blood clot” as an accepted and equal meaning for “Alaq”, while the Qur’an has stipulated that man is made of a mixture of both male and female germ cells. “Truly, We created man from a mixture of germ cells. 76: 2
اناٌخلقناالانسان من نطفه امشاج.
To prove the truth concept of the above verse and disprove Galen’s scheme suffice it to convey the Qur’anic thought in the following revelations based on real truths which can be seen everywhere in the real world.
By the creation of Adam and Eve (AS), the Almighty God changed the number of chromosomes of their germ cells equal to half the number in the normal somatic cells. This is because male and female germ cells of 23 chromosomes must unite each other to make a fertilized egg of 46 chromosomes like their own parents. If such change had not been took place, the next generation would have been extinct and an odd being of 96 chromosomes would have developed instead.
1-“The true nature of God with which He created people can’t be changed.” 30: 30
فطرت الله التي فطرالناس عليها،لاتبديل لخلق الله.
2-“We have made you, why don’t you then believe? Have you considered what you discharge? Do you make it or We are its Maker? We decreed death among you, while nothing can stop Us.” 56: 57-60
نحن خلقناكم فلولا‘تصدقوٌن، أفرايتم ما‘تمنون، ءانتم تخلقونه ام نحن الخالقون؟نحن قدرٌنابينكم الموت ومانحن بمسبوقين.
The word of God proved to be true when electron microscope made cell chromosome visible. Until then no one could tell the difference between somatic and productive cells. After the discovery of electron microscope, it was proved that somatic cells have 46 chromosomes, while productive cells have not more than 23.
3-“And one of His proofs is that He created you from dust, then you scattered throughout the earth when you were human being.”30: 20
ومن أياته ان خلقكم من تراب ثم اذاانتم بشرتنتشرون.
If the will of the Almighty God had not changed the cells of 46 chromosomes to the ones of 23 chromosomes for the purpose of having offspring, human generation could not be perpetual at all.
4-“Infallible beyond our description is He who created all things in pairs from the plants of the earth, mankind themselves, and what they even do not know of.”36: 36
سبحان الذي خلق الازواج كلهامماتنبت الارض ومن اننفسهم وممالايعلمون.
Creating each and all members of every single class with no exception is very amazing.
It implies that an unlimited knowledge must be behind the creation of all creatures.
Because he has made many mistakes, Dr. William Campbell should be blamed seriously. Not because he jumped into conclusion without the investigation of all aspects of embryology in the Qur’an, but because he is a medical doctor, and he must not refer to ordinary people for attaining a right conclusion. Thus referring to uninformed translators in the field of embryology made him make big mistake; despite this, he stood against the Qur’an to blame Mohammad (Peace be upon him and his family), concerning the stages of the fetus.
Anatomically we as medical doctors know now that blood has no share in making any cell of the body. Even blood cells such as red blood cells have no trace of blood in their make up but hemoglobin.
1-Dr. Campbell believes translators are knowledgeable, their translations are correct, and the Qur’an is in clear Arabic, despite this, he says , “The question must be asked if the word “Alaq” was clear to the people of Mecca how this word would lead them to the faith of resurrection, in the verse 5, chapter 22?” Setting such a foolish question proves that neither the so-called knowledgeable translators nor himself could understand what the true meaning of this verse was. Indeed, this verse is to compare between the creation of man from dust (nothing) and reviving him again from dust for resurrection.
2-He believes that Christians have 75% of the Greek Gospel-New Testament in papyrus, written150 years after the ascension of Christ into heaven, and 2 complete copies from 350 AD. Therefore, there is no reason to doubt the essential authenticity of Gospel-New Testament. What a foolish conclusion! The original language of Jesus (AS) was certainly in Hebrew. How skill in both languages was he who translated Hebrew into Greek? For what purpose did he translate into Greek? Is the original Gospel in Hebrew accessible to verify such modern translations? Having only 75% of the Greek Gospel, how about the rest of 25% of it? How many years after Jesus (AS) was the original New-Testament written? While your answers to all these questions are negative, how do you conclude that the Gospel-New Testament is absolutely authentic, while it is full of contradictory and irrational points provided you open your eyes wide open to see them? In addition, if you believe through Jesus (AS) alone one can draw near to God, because he is the only son of God. Why have you combined Moses’ instructions with the New Testament? And how many Devine rules can you find in the New Testament alone, if you separate the Old-Testament from it? Raising these questions do not mean that Muslims do not believe in Jesus (AS); on the contrary, they believe in him more than Christians do, and they must honor all messengers of God equally, including Jesus(AS) without distinction. If Muslims criticize the old and New-Testament, they criticize the present translation, otherwise there is nothing wrong with the original book of Moses and Jesus (AS).
3-Your erroneous conclusion about Gospel, and ridiculous hair-splitting about “Alaq” in Qur’an proves that you have in mind nothing but blaming the Qur’an and Islam. You as a medical doctor know that ovum cannot take more than one sperm at a time. And receiving one sperm makes it impermeable to other sperm. You know that Glen’s idea about two sperms in making a fetus is totally wrong, despite such a big mistake, you extroverted it to Islam, and concluded that Islam is totally wrong about embryology.
You, like other scientists or embryologists, have some theoretical knowledge that may be useful to yourself and make you be proud of yourself, but it is not actually a useful knowledge to lead you to the real truths. Embryologists, for instance, would find the different stages of morula, blastula, and gastrula in aborted specimens through microscope, but they do not care to know who has designed these stages.
The knowledge that scientists gain through speculative studies makes them so proud of themselves that they regard ordinary people with contempt and humiliate the faithful. Not because their finding would make them nearer to the truth of God and more devoted to Him, but they think they are very intelligent for finding new things. Therefore, they consider that lack of intelligence or wisdom convicts people to believe in God, and it is their wisdom to be aloof from God. In fact, it is their false knowledge which makes them brain washed and blind and deaf to all truths.
“Have you seen the one whose god is his desires, and God let him go astray despite his knowledge by sealing his ears and mind and veiling his eyes? Who will guide him after such a decision by God?” 45: 23
افرايت من اتخذالهه هواه واضله الله علي علم وختم علي سمعه وقلبه وجعل علي بصره غشاوه،فمن يهديه من بعدالله؟
“Disbelievers said about the faithful that if the Qur’an had any beneficial virtue, the faithful could not beat us in it. Since they couldn’t get any benefit from it or be guided through it, they would say it is nothing but an old fabrication.” 46:11
وقال الذين كفرواللذين أمنوالوكان خيراماسبقونااليه، واذلم يهتدوابه فسيقولون هذاافك قديم.
4-The following revelations for marvelous contents, which would never be found any where but in the Qur’an, prove that the Qur’an is word of God. This is because their innermost thoughts revealed 14 centuries ago about embryology will surprise everyone. Missing the following insertions and receiving false instructions about Alaq and Mudga would certainly convince everyone to condemn the Qur’an. With his extensive research in this respect, it is pretty sure that Dr. Campbell disregarded the following points of embryology on purpose, lest people would get more information about embryology in the Qur’an and realize its importance.
Embryology is a specialized field of biology and physiology which does not deal with the formation and development of embryo in the uterus only, it surely deals with many other facts of which we will see in the following verses.
“God knows best of you since when He initiated you from dust and when you were hidden in the womb of your mothers.” 53: 32
وهواعلم بكم اذانشأكم من الارض واذانتم اجنه في بطون امهاتكم.
It means that nothing is secret to the Omniscient God to bring us into existance. How would it be possible for Him to make mistake about Alaq and Mudga and fail to mention cartilage in embryo?
“And God made you grow marvelously from the earth like a plant.” 71: 17
والله انبتكم من الارض نياتا.
This verse would reveal several things, such as the sameness of the proportion of the earth’s basic elements with that of our body. I would also make known those gametes your parents contribute to make you come from the earth’s products.
“This is the Knower of all secrets and manifests, the Almighty, the Merciful, who created everything outstandingly, and started the creation of man from dust. Then He put his descendents from the main part of a lowly fluid. Then after, He breathed into him of His spirit, and gave you ears, eyes and mind, yet you are seldom thankful. 32: 6-9
ذلك هوعالم الغيب والشهاده العزيزالرحيم، الذي احسن كل شيئ خلقه وبدأخلق الانسان من طين،ثم جعل نسله من سلاله من ماء مهين،ثم سوٌيه ونفخ من روحه،وجعل لكم السمع والابصاروالافئده،قليلا ماتشكرون.
When there was no indication of microscope in the mind of human being, the Almighty God has revealed about the main part of semen or sperm. Yet people believe that the Qur'an is made by Mohammad (peace and greeting be upon him and his family). They think the learned people living before taught him for making the Qur’an. According to Dr. Campbell, those learned people were absolutely wrong about embryo. Could people with wrong idea teach him the right thing which has been recently proven right by microscope?
“Indeed, We know well that they say, ‘Surely a man whose speech is non-Arabic teaches him, while this speech is clear Arabic.” 16: 103
ولقدنعلم انٌهم يقولون انماٌ ‘يعلمٌه بشرلسان الذي يلحدون اليه اعجمي وهذالسان عربي مبين.
Mohammad (Peace and greeting be upon him and his family) had lost both biologic parents when he was two years old and illiterate; despite such background this Qur’an is in clear Arabic with admiring subjects. Could we believe this book with such qualities is from his idea inducted by others?
“And it is He who created man from a fluid, in which He has made for him blood and marriage relationship. This is because your Lord is All-Powerful.” 25: 54
وهوالذي خلق من الماء بشرافجعله نسباوصهراوكان ربك قديرا.
When people had no idea regarding genealogy weather the direct or indirect line of descendent, the Omnipotent God had revealed such a marvelous statement.
“Truly God has created the pairs of boy and girl from a germ cell when it is discharged abruptly. 53: 45, 46
وانهٌ خلق الزجين الذكروالانثي من نطفه اذا‘تمني.
After recent discovery of electron microscope, human being had a good opportunity to see somatic and sex chromosomes inside the cell’s nucleus. After long standing investigations, he found that sex chromosome in female is composed of XX chromosomes, while that of male is formed of XY chromosomes. Finally during practical applications of scientific principles to animal breeding, they realized that only semen contributes for making male and female. Thus those sperms which make male are called Androsperms, while the other one making females are called gynosperms. In addition man’s semen only discharges out, while female’s fluid, containing female egg, is sucked by either of the pair of the fallopian tubes connecting the egg from the ovary to the uterus.
“Didn’t We create you from a lowly fluid? Then We settled it in an unshakable resting-place for an appointed term, and We decreed and how excellent powerful We are.” 77: 20-23
الم نخلقكم من ماء مهين؟ فجعلناه في قرارمكين، الي قدرمعلوم،فقدرنافنعم القادرون.
By this revelation, the Qur’an has defined the uterus to the best as an unshakable, strong and resting-place, or better yet a safety-net for both fetus and mother. Actually 3 different ligaments at each side, like guy wires, establish the uterus firmly at its place. Parallel to the gradual growth of embryo, the uterus would increase to guarantee its accommodation and secure its nutrition without bringing up any danger for mother. A 3- inches non-gravid uterus nearly takes up the whole abdominal space, at the end of pregnancy, but because of its firmness and very slight mobility, it does not make any gross problem for mother. If it was to move freely, when mothers lie down on their back, the blood circulation would cut off by the pressure of such a heavy mass on the largest vein of the body, the inferior vena cava. And this situation would cause them to a sudden death because of a sharp blood shortage for circulation. As you can see, every single revelation of this book holds outstanding points to remind His creatures to what extent God looks after them, while not only they disregard Him disrespectfully but they disagree with Him contemptuously as well.
“He is God, the Creator, the Originator, and the Designer of all. His are beautiful names, all that is in the heavens and earth glorifies Him, and He is Almighty, All-Wise. 59: 24
هوالله الخالق الباري المصوٌر،له الاسماء الحسني،‘يسبٌح له مافي السموات والارض،وهوالعزيز الحكيم.
Applying three words apparently similar to each other in this verse looks funny, but actually they deeply differ from each other. And the Almighty God has especially brought them in one verse to prove His unlimited knowledge and absolute power of creativity to all researchers, and indicate that this book cannot be written by His messenger. To begin with, all people look the same at first glance, because they are all human beings created by one Creator. But human beings, living organisms, are made of specific soul and distinct mass of body, so they must be different form one another. On the other hand, cars, inanimate things, are made of dead matters therefore they can be exactly the same but their own keys. A car mechanic can replace any part of a broken car by another piece of the same model without any problem. But a surgeon cannot make a heterograft without problem unless the histocompatibility antigen, that is, capable being accepted by recipient to remain functional. In other words, human leukocyte antigen (HLA) of donor and recipient match each other without being rejected by recipient’s immune system. That is why the Originator has invented them differently to specify exactly every single individual in order that no one can mistakenly take an innocent for a criminal in criminal case. That is why the Designer God has singled out everyone from others by his finger print and DNA. Therefore, God is the Creator, the Originator, and the Designer because He is the Almighty and All-Wise and all things glorify Him.
“Let man consider from what he is created. H is created from gushing water issuing from between the back bone and breast bone.” 86: 5-7
فلينظرالانسان مم‘خلق،‘خلق من ماء دافق،يخرج من بين الصلب والترائب.
As it was mentioned before, the Qur’an is a synopsis to talk briefly and generally within the range of the senses of human being. The objective perspective of primitive people of a man was characterized by ejaculating semen and woman was distinguished by menstrual bleeding. Though gushing water seemingly is applied to men for discharging the semen suddenly, in reality it is not the case. Recent observation through laparoscopy, visual examination of abdominal cavity, in women for in vitro fertilization (IVF), has demonstrated that the fully ripe follicle moves to the surface of ovary with tremendous fluid taking an outlook of a volcano. At the time of ovulation, literally it burst like a miniature volcano to discharge abundant gushing water which contains ovum. Therefore, according to the recent study and previous passage of the Qur’an, gushing water must be applied to both man and woman. Particularly that the germinal disk in embryo, from which both male and female gonads will arise, is the same. Using his senses, man is able to understand things, but he is unaware of unseen, unheard and untouched things. A new born infant has no sense of relief things. A flower, for instance, on a carpet with the one on a bush does not make any difference to him unless he touches them. It is through touching that he is able to distinguish between two and three-dimensional things.
In this special verse, God the most High has challenged all creatures to find what is unseen to them, and after discovering the truth believe in Him, and be confident that whatever the Compassionate God has revealed is to true and for improving our knowledge.
Dose Dr. Campbell, mean that he does know for sure while God Who has revealed such wonderful things about embryology, does not know and He is wrong in His revelations?
Let us \know how the Almighty God has described Himself relating to our body building.
“Should He, who has created all things, not know them, while He is Elaborate, All-Knowing? 67: 14
الايعلم من خلق وهواللطيف الخبير؟
“You don’t need to speak aloud, for He knows what you speak openly, keep secret, or is hidden to yourself.” 20: 7
This verse implies about conscious (What we know well), subconscious (What we know a little or keep secret), and unconscious (What we have no idea).
وان تجهربالقول،فانٌه يعلم السٌرواخفي.
“God knows the stealthy looks and the secret thoughts hidden in the breasts.” 40: 19
يعلم خائنه الاعين وما‘تخفي الصدور.
And Imam said, “God is well-informed about all minds, and cognizant of all secret thoughts.
مطلعا علي الضمائروعارفابالسرائر.
How learned people authorize themselves to utter such a blasphemy against God that Qur'an is not His word, or think that religion is for deceiving or distracting people. Do they believe that sciences will all its imperfection and instability that change every day, are right and people should depend on them, while word of God with all its confirmation and persuasiveness should be disregarded?
For finding the right answer, for instance, about the word “Alaq” or “Mudga”, is it wise to refer to well-informed and faithful medical doctors, or make no difference if one refers to any vulgar translator? Well-informed and faithful people have no hesitation to be fair, take no side, and tell the truth. This is because they are confident that truths have ever been dominant while falsehoods always pass away. And the Almighty God said to His messenger to officially declare that when truth comes, falsehood must go away, indeed falsehood is on the point of passing away.” 17: 81
قلجاء الحق وزهق الباطل ان لباطل كان زهوقا.
Like a bird which needs two full-fledged wings to fly strongly and directly, man needs two wings of faith and knowledge to stay in the line of real humanity. In that case one would be able to defend his rights and convince others through reason and rationality. Having no wing, a miserable bird will be nailed to the ground, and ready to be hunted by any predator at any moment. Having one wing, the imagined bird would hardly fly but not in a desired direction, even a strong wind would impede its forward movement. Simply having two full-fledged wings would make the same bird fly strongly and directly, even in severe weather conditions. The same is very true that a man with neither wing would be always a target for every attack and criticism. He would be a good victim for the private motives of the unfaithful but knowledgeable people at all time, for he has no means to defend himself. Having one wing, either the wing of knowledge or faith would make him unpredictable to change quickly. If he enjoys the wing of knowledge, not supervised by the wing of faith, would be so proud of himself to object God’s revelation like Dr. Campbell, who not-knowing Arabic language and its grammar, unduly criticizes God revelation for the word “Alaq”. If one enjoys the wing of faith, not supported by the wing of a useful knowledge, cannot resist against seemingly logical objections of opponents, so he will quickly lose his faith.
“Have you noticed the one whose god is his ego? Therefore, God let him go astray, despite his knowledge by sealing his ears and mind and drawing a veil on his eyes. So who will guide him after such decision by God? Why do you not take heed? 45:23
افرايت من اتخذالاهه هواه،واضله الله علي علم وختم علي سمعه وقلبه وجعل علي بصره غشاوه فمن يهديه من بعدالله افلاتذكرون؟
“They said, ‘There is nothing for us but this life, we live and die and nothing destroy us but the course of time, while they have no knowledge of this, they simply guess.” 45: 24
وقالواماهي الاحياتناالدنيانموت ونحياوما‘يهلكنا الاالدهر،ومالهم بذلك من علم،ان هم الايظنوٌن.
Contrary to the truly faithful doctors, unfaithful scientists or knowledgeable disbelievers do not care about what they should say or what they should admit, they do not believe they do not care that what they claim is truly right or wrong.
“Do not insist on, resist, or follow what you know nothing; actually your ears, eyes and minds have been responsible in your life and they will be asked. 17: 36
ولاتقف ماليس لك به علم،ان السمع والبصؤوالفوادكل اولئك كان عنه مسئولا.
Like other scientists, Dr. Campbell concludes by reasoning that as car engineers make mistakes in making car, so they must eliminate their mistakes in next products; God has made some mistakes in introducing the stages of embryo in the Koran. More regretfully, these learned people do not study their own body to see how it would be possible that God makes mistakes, while He has made such a well-balance, delicate and sophisticated body. Perhaps they do not believe that God has made their body or they think that the Koran is not word of God.
Certainly, man is not the creator of his own, because of his imperfection. If he were his own creator, he would make himself perfect. And surely, an unintelligent nature cannot make an intelligent human being. Thus an Omnipotent, Omniscient nature whose name is God must be our Designer. Therefore, He revealed the following verses to remind many things. He revealed to remind us while He has created our body physically imperfect, He has designed our body in a way to work perfectly. He revealed to mention that this book is not the legends of the ancient people like Hippocrates, a physician, but the word of Him who knows all secrets in the heavens and earth. He revealed to make known that if the Quran were His messenger’s word, he would bring it earlier than his 40 years old, while he brought it after revelation, and you would find many mistakes in it.
“Indeed, We created man in a perfect design.” 95: 4
اناٌ خلقناالانسان في احسن تقويم.
“O people! Who deceived you concerning your Lord, the most Generous? Who created you, put you in an amazing order, then made you well-balanced, and designed you whatever He willed.” 82: 6-8
ياايها الانسان ماغرٌك بربك الكريم، الذي خلقك فسوٌيك فعدلك، في ايٌ صوره ماشاء ركبكٌ.
“Disbelievers said, ‘This is nothing but a lie invented with the help of other people. Indeed, it is untruth and injustice. And they said, ‘It is the legends of the ancients of which he has written, and they dictated to him day and night. Say, ‘He who knows the secrets of the heavens and earth has sent it.” 25: 4-6
زقال الذين كفرواان هذاالاافك افتري واعانه قوم أخرون،فقدجاؤاظلماوزورا،وقالوااساطيرالاولين اكتتبهافهي‘تملي عليه بكره واصيلا،قل انزله الذي يعلم السرٌفي السموات والارض.
“God taught what man did not know.” 96: 5
علمٌ الانسان مالم يعلم.
“And God taught Adam the name of all things.”2: 31
وعلٌم أدم الاسماء كلٌها.
“Fear and observe God until God teach you.” 2: 282
واتقواالله و‘يعلٌمكم الله.
“Just as We sent to you a messenger of your own to recite Our revelations to you, purify you, instruct you the book and wisdom, and teach you what you never new.” 2: 151
كماارسلنافيكم رسولامنكم يتلواعليكم أياتناو‘زٌكيكم و‘يعلٌمكم الكتاب والحكمه و‘يعلمكم مالم تكونوا تغلمون.
“Say, ‘Would you teach God about your religion, while God knows what the heavens and the earth have, and has the knowledge of all things?” 49: 16
قل اتعلٌمون بدينكم والله يعلم مافي السموات ومافي الارض،والله بكل شيئ عليم.
“And God brought you forth from you mothers’ wombs, while you knew nothing, but He put in you ears, eyes, and mind, hoping that you give thanks.” 16: 78
والله اخرجكم من بطون امهاتكم لاتعلمون شيئاوجعل لكم السمع والابصاروالافئده لعلكم تشكرون.
Living in an absolutely dark room to see nothing at all, and swimming in a pool of amniotic water to hear none, how could the mind of the fetus develop for understanding?
The Almighty God has specified that there is no mistake in any creation even if you examine them again and again. And in every order of any species He has made miscellaneous things to prove His power of creativity, and make us know that He has created nothing in vain. Everything has its own virtue but we are not in the position to know them all.
“We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them just for play. We created them for a true purpose and revealing the truth, but most people do not know. 44: 39
وماخلقناالسموات والارض ومابينهمالاعبين، ماخلقناهماالابالحق ولكن اكثرالناس لايعلمون.
“To be blessed is He, in whose hand is all sovereignty, and has power over all things. He created seven heavens in layers one above the other but you cannot see any flaw in the creation of the Merciful. Do you see any flaw even if you keep looking? Look again and again. At the end, your eyes will turn back to you weary and dazzled. 67: 1-4
تبارك الذي بيده الملك وهوعلي كل شيئ قدير، الذي خلق سبع سموات طباقاماتري في خلق الرحمن من تفاوت،فارجع البصرهل تري من فطور؟
In fact, applying one word like “Alaq” to display the different characters of the fetus in the womb is one the most outstanding miracle of the Koran. Using one word to imply many things, and making a very short statement is one the beauties of the Koran.
Soon after a zygote, fertilized egg, getting formed at the oviduct, by the fusion of the nucleus of one sperm with that of one ovum, it starts for division after division to make a mass of absolutely identical cells. After a fixed number of cell division, this mass of cells known as morula travels through the oviduct to implant in the uterine lining.
1- The uterine lining has been already prepared to implant blastula within itself very easily. But this process usually takes place at the top part of uterine cavity near where the oviduct opens into uterus. This position of the fetus looks suspended in the space of uterus. (Therefore, suspending is one of the definitions for alaq).
2-Blastula should stick thoroughly to the uterine wall, through the placenta, lest the fetus would not drop as its weight grows gradually. Therefore sticking to the uterine wall must be so thorough that pregnancy would continue to the end. (Therefore, sticking thoroughly is the second definition for alaq).
3-The fetus should nourish through the placenta to grow. And one of the great jobs of the placenta is to exchange food materials between mother and the fetus. Thus the placenta sucks fresh blood from mother like a leech to supply food for fetal growth. (Therefore, something leech-like or a sucking blood device is the third definition for alaq).
4-Since fetal growth absolutely depends on mother’s health. If she is doing well the fetus does well too and vice versa. (Therefore the forth definition of “alaq” is something depending on).
5-It is obvious that fetal life during pregnancy is totally in a state of pending. If mother dies, fetus will die too. If she stays alive, fetus will stay alive too. (Therefore the fifth definition for “alaq” is something pending.)
As you can see, by using one word and making a very short statement, the Omniscient God indirectly indicates and teaches us many things about the situation of fetus in the womb.
To officially declare that something is wrong or right, some scientific data or systematic study or experimental and practical investigation is absolutely required. Insufficient investigation about other aspect of what is brought to discussion would bring shame upon those who have failed to study enough. Because, for example, studying other aspects of embryology in the Qur’an would convince them that God is absolutely right about “Alaq”.
And many verses in the Qur’an encourage all people to a systematic study for accepting or rejecting the truth with fairness. In other words, the Qur’an advises people not to accept idea devotedly, rather to put up what is traditionally handed down, what rationality supports, and what their fairness would permit to make a right decision.
“The true servants of the Merciful do not react as they were deaf and blind when they are reminded with the revelations of their Lord.” 25: 73
والذين ادا‘ذكروٌابأيات ربهم لم يخروٌا عليهاصماوعميانا.
“We advised people to be good with their parents, but if they tried that you make associate with Me do not obey them of which you have no knowledge.” 29: 8
ووصيناالانسان بولديه احسانا،وان جاهداك لتشرك بي ماليس لك به علم فلاتطعهما.
“Call to the path of your Lord with wisdom, excellent advice, and argue them with what is the best.” 16: 125
‘ادع الي ربك بالحكمه والموعظه الحسنه وجادلهم بالتي هي احسن
“Look, you are those who argue in what you have some knowledge, why then do you argue in what you have no knowledge, while God knows everything and you know nothing?” 3: 66
هاانتم هولاءحاججتم فيمالكم به علم فلم‘تحاجوٌن فيماليس لك به علم؟والله يعلم وانتم لاتعلمون.
“Give good news to those servants who listen to whatever word it may be, they then follow the best, those are whom God has guided and they are the intelligent.” 39: 18
فبشرٌعبادالذين يستمعون القول فيتبعون احسنه،اوليك الذين هديهم الله واولئك هم اولوالالباب.
Do modern sciences of which you take pride have any reasonable answer to the following questions, or they are silent because they have no logical answer?
A-Out of millions of competitors, just a single sperm can fuse with ovum to make a fertilized egg. Why are there millions sperms as contestants for fertilization of one egg? Which sperm should meet the ovum to make a zygote? What would be the fate of zygote? Should it be aborted or traveled to the uterus for pregnancy or rested in the oviduct to make an ectopic pregnancy? How should it be a male or female, a single or twine? How could be the term of pregnancy less of more than normal?
“God knows what every woman bears during her pregnancy, what wombs fall short of pregnancy, and what they increase by twins, and everything has its own due measure with God. It makes no matter for the Great, the most High, the Knower of unseen and seen whether you speak in secret or declare or completely keep it secret at night or frankly make it visible by day.” 13: 8-10
الله يعلم ماتحمل كل انثي وماتغيض الارحام وماتزدادوكل شيئ عنده بمقدار.عالم الغيب والشهاده الكبيرالمتعال،سواء منكم من اسرٌ القول ومن جهربه ومن هومستخف باليل وسارب بالنهار.
Most of questions and answers regarding embryology lie in this verse which says, “Everything has its own due measure with God”
Millions sperms are required to help one of them to fertilize the ovum. As a bride is attended by women known as brides-maid at wedding ceremony, the ovum is surrounded by two layers of protective cells, therefore sperm cells lose most of their cytoplasm to make room for special lysosome known as acrosome full of hyaluronidase enzyme to dissolve protective cells around ovum, enabling the predicted sperm to enter and fertilize the egg. Behind the head of each sperm is packed with mitochondria, providing the energy needed to move its tail and propel it along the oviduct. Is it not true that “Everything has its own due measure with God”?
“The kingdom of the heavens and earth belongs to God. He creates whatever He wills. He gives daughters to whom He pleases and sons to whom He wills. He couples both girls and boys for them and makes sterile whom He wills. He is All-Knowing, All- Powerful. 42: 49, 50
لله ملك السموات والارض،يخلق مايشاء،يهب لمن يشاء اناثاويهب لمن يشاء الذكور،او‘يزوٌجهم ذكراناو‘اناثاويجعل من يشاء عقيما،انه عليم قدير.
B-Without exception all body cells are diploid, why then are germ cells haploid? Who made decision to reduce the number of chromosomes in half only for germ cells?
“Have you seen what you discharge of semen? Do you make it or We are its maker? We created you, why do you not then accept? 56: 57-59
افرايتم ما‘تمنون؟ ءانتم تخلقونه ام نحن الخالقون؟ نحن خلقناكم فلولا‘تصدقوٌن؟
If man is able to do partial genetic engineering today, at the beginning of the creation of man on earth, we did chromosomal engineering to turn cells of 46 chromosomes into cells of 23 chromosomes. If We had not adjusted this plan, the present human generation would have destroyed after the first term and many other odd generations would have developed on earth. Thus, We made this plan to protect his generation to scatter on earth by its multiplication. In other words, two haploid cells contributed from mother and father must fuse to make another individual exactly similar to his parents.
C-At the stage of Morula in which cells are absolutely identical of every respect, they make 3germ layers in the stage of blastula which make ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm. Beyond this amazing point, each layer makes different systems which they are totally alien from one another. Further than this, each system would subdivide into various groups. As an example mesoderm makes muscles, bones and blood system. Muscles divide into3 different kinds of skeletal, heart muscle and smooth muscles. Bones make compact and spongy bones. Blood system makes red, white and platelet cells. White blood cells come into many different ones. And the immune system subdivides into many different cells with different jobs. Who is behind all these plans, nature, God or they would differentiate by themselves?
A piece of advice for being filled only with the rapture of material aspect of life
Scientists by sticking to the material aspect of life have been totally oblivious of its spiritual aspect revealed to Mohammad (Peace and greeting be upon him and his family), for all human beings. They believe their knowledge of science is the mother of everything for them. Disregarding the moral aspect of life revealed by God and following their capricious desires, they brought about a miserable or even a deadly life full of adversities. Beyond all reason of insecurity, outrageous physical and mental diseases, shamefully immoral slaughtering each other, making artificial shortage of gas by provoking undue wars and holding up the cost of living, and many others are samples for an infernal life of today. Scientists believe they have brought nothing but good things for human beings, which not really the case. Sciences with all imperfections have ever brought several disasters for them. Artificial hormonal replacement therapy in menopausal women instead of using naturally occurring phyto-hormone like soy bean brought about cancer in them, while God who has ever been a Great Provider of all means has never put His creature in bleak, but it is our duty to find them. DDT was another example which was once a Nobel Prize winner, but it was proved to be toxic for ecosystem latter on.
God strengthens those who believed with steady words both in this life and the hereafter but misleads the wrong doers, and God does what He wills. Didn’t you see that those who exchanged the grace of God with disbelief so they drove their people into a house of utter loss, a hell, a miserable place in which they will burn, because they associated equals to drive people from His path. Say, ‘Enjoy for a little while, while your destiny is Hell.” 14: 28-30

Let us sincerely pray and ask God for His guidance.
O God! I ask you for: a useful knowledge, a humble heart, a pure action, a healing certitude, a graceful patience, and a great reward.
O God! Put light in my eyes, insight in my faith, certitude in my heart, devotion in my soul, integrity in my self, and thanks for my health.
