The supplication for fasting month when is coming

Praise is due to God who guided us to His praise, and placed us of His own people to be among the thankful for His Beneficence, and to reward us for this praise with the reward of the beneficent (good-doers) .
الحمد لله الذی هدانا لحمده ، وجعلنا من اهله لنکون لاحسانه من الشاکرین، ولیجزینا علی ذلک جزاء المحسنین.
سپاس برخدائیست که مارابرای سپاسش هدایت فرمود ومارا ازاهل خود(ملت اسلام) قرارداد تاشکرگذار احسانش باشیم وتاجزای سپاسش راجزای نیکوکاران قراردهد.
Praise is due to God who awarded us with His religion and distinguished us with His nation (Islam) and drew us on the path of His Beneficence until by His Kindness we take all roads to His pleasure; with a kind of praise that He will accept from us and through which He will be pleased with us.
والحمد لله الذی حبانا بدینه، واختصنّا بملته، وسبّلنا فی سبل احسانه لنسلکها بمنهّ الی رضوانه ، حمداً یتقبلّه مناّ .یرضی به عناّ.
سپاس برخدائیست که وینش رابما عطاکرد ومارااسلام اختصاص داد ودر راه احسانش کشانید تا با لطفش راههای رضایش را طی کنیم. آنهم سپاسی که ازما قبول کرده، بوسیله آن ازماراضی شود.
Praise is due to God who made of these roads, His month, the month of Ramadan, month of fasting, month of submission, month of purity, month of testing, month of standing in prayers, in which the Qur'an has been sent to be a guidance for people and clear signs of guidance and separation between lawful and unlawful.
والحمدلله الذی جعل من تلک السبل، شهره شهررمضان، شهر الصیام، شهرالاسلام، شهرالطهور، شهر التمحیص، وشهرالقیام، الذی انزل فیه القرآن، هدی للناس وبیناّت من الهدی والفرقان.
سپاس برخدائیست که ازراهها ماه او، ماه رمضان، ماه روزه، ماه تسلیمٍ، ماه تصفیه، ماه امتحان، ماه قیام برای نوافل، واهیست که درآن قران برای هدایت مردم ونشانه های روشن برای جداسازی حق ازباطلست.
He then explained the excellent quality (virtue) of this month over other months by placing numerous sacred things and well-known virtues within it. To honor it, He made unlawful what He declared lawful in others; and to show high respect for it, He forbad foods and drinks in it.
And God, the Majesty and Almighty appointed an exact time for it which is allowed neither to be set before nor be placed behind.
فابان فضیلته علی سائرالشهوربما جعل له من الحرمات الموفوره والفضائل المشهوره. فحرّم فیه ما احلّ فی غیره اعظاماً وحجرفیه المطاعم والمشارب اکراما وجعل له وقتاً بیناً لایجیز جلّ وعزّ ان یقدم قبله ولا یقبل ان یوخرّ عنه.
وخداوند جلّ وعلیّ برتری این ماه رابرسایرماهها باگرامی داشتن محرّمات فراوان وفضیلتهای مشهورش بیان داشت. برای بزرگداشت آن، آنچه درماههای دیگرحلالست، حرام کرده، وبرای اکرام اینماه خوراکیها ومشروبات را نهی فرموده وبرایش وقتی معینّ تعیین کرده، نه اجازه داده میشود جلوافتاده شود ونه قبول میفرماید عقب افتاده شود.
He then preferred one of its nights over the night of a thousand months and He called it “the Night of Decree or Destiny”. During this night, Angels and the Spirit descend by the leave of their Lord of every peaceful command. Its blessing is constant until dawn upon whomever of His servants He wills of what He makes firm His Devine decree.
ثمّ فضلّ لیله واحده من لیا لیه علی لیالی الف شهروسماّ ها لیله القدر، تنزّل الملائکه والروح فیها باذن ربهمّ من کلّ امرسلام، دائماالبرکه الی طلوع الفجرعلی من یشاأ من عباده بما احکم من قضائه.
سپس یکی ازشبهایش رابرشبهای هزارماه برتری داد وآنراشب قدریاشب سرنوشت نامید که درآنشب ملائکه وروح بااجازه پروردگارشان هرامرسالمی رابرای هریک ازبندگانش قضای آسمانی راحکم کرده دائماً تاسحرگاه فرودمیایند.
O Allah! Through blessing Mohammad and his family, inspire us the knowledge of its virtue and the greatness of its sacredness (standing and perseverance), and restraining of what you have forbidden in it; and help us its fasting by not disobeying you with all strength, but using our limbs to please you in a way lend not our ears to idle talks and rush not with our eyes to amusements, and not stretch our hands to the forbidden and walk not our feet to the prohibited and hold our bellies noting but what you made lawful and our tongue speak not but to what you exemplified and burden not but with what close us to your reward and engage not but in what keep us from your punishment. Then make pure all those things from the eye-service of hypocrites and the good reputation among listeners, until we associate no one with you and seek no purpose but you.
اللهم صلّ علی محمدوآله، والهمنا معرفه فضله واجلال حرمه، والتحفظّ مماّ حظرت فیه، واعنا علی صیامه بکفّ الجوارح عن معصیتک، واستعمالها فیه بمایرضیک، حتی لا نصغی باسماعنا الی لغو ولانسرع بابصارنا الی لهوولا نبسط ایدینا الی محظورولا نخطوا باقدامنا الی محجورولاتعی بطوننا الاّ ما احلتّ، ولا تنطق السنتناالاّ بما مثلبّ، ولانتکلفّ الاما یدنی من ثوابک، ولانتعاطیالاّ الذی یقی من عقابک. ثمّ خلّص ذلک کلهّ من رئاء المرائین وسمعه المسمعین، ولانشرک فیه احدا دونک ولانبتغی فیه مراداً سواک.
بارالها! بادرود برمحمد ودودمانش، معرفت برتری اینماه وبزرگداشت محرّماتش و دوری ازآنچه دراینماه منع کرده ای الهام نما. ومارابروزه داری با بازداشتن انداممان ازمعصیتها وبکاربردن آنها درراضی کردنت کمک فرما تااینکه باگوشهایمان سخنان لغونشنویم وباچشمهایمان بسوی بیهودگیها نشتابیم. دستهایمان بحرام درازنشود وباگامهایمان بسوی فساد کشیده نشودوشکمهایمان جزآنچه حلال کرده ای جا ندهد وزبانمان جزبمث آنچه تو میگوئی گویا نگردد وجزآنچه مارابثوابت نزدیک میکند بزحمت نیفتیم وجزآنچه ماراازعقابت نگمیدارد گرفتارنشویم سپس همه اینهارا ازریای منافقین واشتهارمیان شنودگان خالص گردان تاکسی راباتوشریک نگردانیم ومقصودی جزتو نجوئیم.
O Allah! Through blessing Mohammad and his family, inform us the time-table of the five prayers that you delimited its limits, determined its duties, imposed its tasks, and scheduled its time-table. And let us hold the position of those associated with its dignity, and guard its principles (intention, glorification, standing, bowing, and two prostrations), and fulfill it on time as your servant and messenger, peace and greeting upon him and his family, prescribed to do its bowing, prostration, and all its remainders perfectly and properly; and explain our deep humility and more seriousness.
اللهمّ صلّ علی محمدّ وآله، وقفنا علی مواقیت الصلوه الخمس بحدودها التی حدّدت، وفروضها التی فرضت، ووظائفها التی وظفت. وانزلنا فیها منزله المصیبین لمنازلها، الحافظین لارکانها، المودین لها فی اوقاتها علی ما سنّه عبدک ورسولک صلواتک علیه وآله فی رکوعها وسجودها وجمیع فواضلها علی اتمّ الطهورواسبغه وابین الحشوع وابلغه.
بارالها!باصلوات برمحمد وآلش، مارا باوقات نمازهای پنجگانه که حدودش رامعّین، احکامش رامشخصّ، ووظائفش رامقرّر، واوفاتش را تعیین نموده ای، واقف نما. ومارادرمقام کسانیکه همگام باشایستگی نماز بوده، ارکان آنرامثل نیّت، تکبیر، رکوع ودوسجود، حفظ کرده، وآنرادروقت معینش همانطورکه بنده ورسولت، صل الله علیه وآله، رکوع، سجود، وباقیمانده هایش را بطورکامل وخالص تجویزکرده، انجام داده وخشوع عمیق ورساترین فروتنی رانشان دهیم.
And give us success in this month to join kinship with charity and connection, and treat reciprocally with our neighbors with favor and gift, and purify our wealth from liability and clean it by paying alms, and return to him who emigrated from us, and treat with justice with him who has oppressed us, and keep the peace with him who treated us as a enemy except him who is regarded as an enemy in you and for you. Actually he is an enemy whom we do not take as friend and a group whom we do not hold dear.
ووفقناّ فیه لان نصل ارحامنا بالبرّوصله ، وان نتعاهد جیراننا بالافضال والعطیه، وان نخلّص اموالنا من التبعات وان تطهرّنا باخراج الزکوه، وان نراجع من هاجرنا، وان ننصف من ظلمنا، وان نسالم من عادانا، حاشا من عودی فیک ولک، فانهّ العدوّ الذی لا نوالیه والحزب الذی لا نصافیه.
ومارادراینماه موفق باارحام با نیکی رفت وآمدکنیم، باهمسایگان با احسان وعطا رفتارکنیم، واموالمان راازبدهی پاک کنیم، وبادادن زکوه طاهرنمائیم، وبکسیکه ازمادوری گزیده برگردیم، وباکسیکه بما ظلم کرده باانصاف رفتارنمائیم، وباکسیکه باماذشمنی کرده درصلح باشیم، مگرکسیکه درراه تووبرای تو دشمنی شده، زیرادشمنی هست که دوست نمیگیریم وحزبیست که عزیزنمیداریم.
And to come near to you in this month through the sinless (pure) deeds which purify us from sins, and hinder us to resume faults until none of your angel does not convey to you anything but the kinds of obedience and the sorts of nearness to you.
وان نتقربّ الیک فیه من العمال زاکیه بم تطهّرنابه من الذنوب وتعصمنا فیه مما نستانف من العیوب، حتی لا یورداحدمن الملائکتک الۀ دون ما نوردمن ابواب الطاعه لک وانواع القربه الیک.
ودراینماه بوسیله اعمال پاکیزه که ماراازگناهان پاک میکند بتو تقرّب جسته، ومارا ازسرگرفتن عیوب دراینماه بازداری، تااینکه هیچیک ارملائکه توغیرازانواع طاعت واقسام تقربّ بتو منتقل نکنند.
O Allah! By the truth of this month, and by the truth of him who worshipped you within it from its beginning to its time passing away, whether he is an angel have brought near, or a messenger have sent, or a righteous servant have singled out; I ask you to bless Mohammad and his family and make us qualified in this month with what you have promised to your friends with your geneosity, and make incumbent for us in this month of what you have made incumbent to those who exaggerate in obeying you, and by your Mercy put us in the order of those who are entitled to the highest rank.
اللهمّ انیّ اسئلک بحق هذاالشهروبحقّ من تعبّد لک فیه من ابتدائه الی وقت فنائه: من ملک قربتّه او نبیّ ارسلته اوعبد صالح اختصصته، ان تصلیّ علی محمد وآله واهلّنا فیه لما وعدت اولیائک من کرامتک واوجب لنافیه ما اوجبت لاهل المبالغه فی طاعتک واجعلنا فی نظم من استحقّ رفیع الاعلی برحمتک.
بارالها! بحق اینماه وبحق کسیکه ازابتدای اینماه تاانتهای وقتش تراعبادت کرده چه ملکی که نزدیکش کرده ای، چه رسولیکه فرستاده ای وچه بنده صالحیکه اختصاصش داده ای ازتومسئلت دارم که برمحمد ودودمانش درود فرستاده، ما را بآنچه با کرامتت یاولیائت وعده کرده ای، شایسته گردان، وبآنچه باهل مبالغه درطاعت واجب گردانیده ای، واجب گردان، ومارادررده کسانیکه بارحمتت مستحق اعلی ترین درجه هستند، قراربده.
O Allah! Bless Mohammad and his family, keep us away from the heresy of your unity (opposing to the true doctrine of God’s unity), shortcoming in praising you, wavering of your religion, blindness of your path, negligence of your sacredness, and being deceived by your enemy, the cursed Devil.
اللهم صلّ علی محمد وآله، وجنبّنا الالحاد فی توحیدک، والتقصیرفی تمجیدک، والشکّ فی دینک، والعمی عن سبیلک، والاغفال لحرمتک، والانخداع لعدّوک الشیطان الرجیم.
بارالها! با صلوات برمحمد ودودمانش، مرا ازالحاد دریگانگیت، کوتاهی دربزرگداشتت، شک در دینت، کوری در راهت، اغفال ازمحرماتت، وفریب خوردن ازشیطان رانده شد، دوردار.
O Allah! Bless Mohammad and his family, when every night of this our month’s night your pardon sets free slaved by sins or grant them your forgiveness, thus make us like those slaves, and place us of the best qualified and companions of this our month.
اللهم صلّ علی محمد وآله، واذا کان لک فی کلّ لیله من لیالی شهرناهذا رقاب یعتقها عفوک، او یهبها صفحک، فاجعل رقابنا من تلک الرقاب؛ واجعلنا لشهرنامن خیراهل واصحاب.
بارپروردگارا! با درودبرمحمد ودودمانش، موقعیکه درهرشب ازشبهای این ماه ما، عفو توبردگان گناهان رامی بخشد، ماراهم ازاین برگان قرارداده، تاازبردگی گناه آزادشده، ازبهترین شایستگان واصحاب آن باشیم.
O Allah! Bless Mohammad and his family, efface our sins while the crescent of the moon is effacing, and cast off the aftermaths of our acts from us with the casting-off of its time until it leaves us behind while you have purified us from offenses and make us free from eivl-deeds in this month.
اللهمّ صلّ علی محمدّ وآله ، وامحق ذنوبنا مع امحاق هلاله، واسلخ عنّا تبعاتنا مع انسلاخ ایامّه، حتیّ ینقضی عناّ وقد صفیتّنا فیه من الخطیئات واخلصتنا فیه من السیئاّت.
بارالها! با درود برمحمد وخاندانش، با محو شدن هلال ماه، گناهان مارا محونما، وباکنده شدن آیاّمش عواقب بد اعمالمان را بکن، تا اینکه با سپری شدن ایاّمش، مارا ازگناهان کوچک پاک وازگناهان بزرگ خالص گردانیده باشی.
O Allah! Bless Mohammad and his family. If we inclined from the right path in this month, adjust us; if we swerved from the truth in this month, set us upright; and if your enemy, Devil included us with his party, deliver us from him.
اللهمّ صلّ علی محمّد وآله، وان ملنا فیه فعدّلنا وان زغنا فیه فقومّنا وان اشتمل علینا عدوّک الشیطان فاستنقذنا منه.
بارالها!بادرود برمحمّد وخاندانش، اگردراینماه ازراه راست مایل شدیم، ماراتعدیل نما واگرازحق برگشتیم مارا برگردان واگرشیطان دشمنت مارا شامل گروه خودکرد، مارانجات بده.
O Allah! Make us in this month full of our service for you, and decorate its times with obeying you, and decorate its times with our obedience for you, and help us during its daytime with its fast, and in its night with prayer and imploring you and humility as well as lowliness before you in order that its daytime does not bear witness against us with heedlessness and its nighttime with negligence.
اللهمّ اشحنه بعبادتنا ایاّک، وزینّ اوقاتها بطاعتنا لک، واعنّا فی نهاره علی صیامه، وفی لیله علی الصلوه والتضرع الیک والخشوع لک والذلهّ بین یدیک حتی لا یشهد نهاره علینا بغفله ولا لیله بتفریط.
خداوندا! اینماه مارا با پرستش ماترا پرکن، واوفات آنرا با طاعت مابرایت زینت ده، ودرروزش مارابروزه داری ودرشبش به نماز، زاری بسوی تو، فروتنی دربرابرت وخواری درپشگاهت، کمک فرما تا روزش، شاهد غفلت وبیخبری وشبش گواه تقصیروکوتاهی نباشد.
O Allah! Make us like this in other months and times as long as you let us alive and place us of your righteous servants those who will inherit Paradise therein they will be forever. They give of whatever they are given while their hearts thrill that they must return to their Lord. They compete in good things and they are the foremost in knowledge and act.
اللهمّ واجعلنا فی سائزالشهوروالایاّم کذلک ما عمرّتنا واجعلنا من عبادک الصالحین الذین یرثون الفردوس هم فیها خالدون، والذین یوتون ما آتوا وقلوبهم وجله الی ربهم راجعون ومن الذین یسارعون فی الخیرات وهم لها سابقون.
بارالها! مارا دزسایرماهها وایاّم تازمانیکه زنده نگاهمیداری همانندماه رمضان قراربده وماراازبندگان شایسته که فردوس برین را بارث میبرند ودرآن جاودانند، قراربده، کسانیکه ازآنچه بآنهاازعلم وغمل داده شده، می بخشند ودرکارهای نیک میشتابند وبرآن نیکیهاسبقت میگیرند.
O Allah! Bless Mohammad and his family at any time, any moment and any condition to the number of what you have blessed upon whomever you blessed and multiply that in a sort of multiplication that none can count but yourself; truly you are the most efficient for what you desire.
اللهمّ صلّ علی محمّد وآله فی کلّ وقت وکلّ اوان وعلی کلّ حال عددماصلّیت علی من صلیّت علیه واضعاف ذلک کلّه بالاضعاف التی لا یحصیها غیرک، انکّ فعّال لما تشاء.
بارپروردگارا! برمحمد ودودمانش درهروقت وزمان وحال بشماره درودیکه برهرکه درود فرستاده ای و چندبرابرآنها بچندان برابریکه کسی جزخودت نتواندبشمارد، درودفرست، زیرادرحقیقت بهرچه بخواهی قادروتوانائی.
Here are some supplications from innocent Imams, endowed with knowledge for the night of Destiny:
1-O Allah! Bless Mohammad and his family, and support me with chastity, make me talk wisdom; place me of those who regret for what they forfeited yesterday, are not cheated in their good fortune of today, and are not concerned about tomorrow sustenance.
بارالها! با صلوات برمحمّدودودمانش، مرابعصمت وطهارت تائیدفرما، زبانم رابحکمت گویاکن، وازکسانی که از ضایع شدن دیروزشان پشیمانند، وازحظّ امروزشان مغبون نیستند وناراحت غذای فردانیستند، فراربده.
اللهم صلّ علی محمّد وآله وایدّنی بالعصمه وانطق لسانی بالحکمه واجعلنی ممنّ یندم علی ما ضیعّه فی امسه ولا یغبن حظّه فی یومه ولا یهمّ لرزق غده.
2-O Allah! Truly you commanded us to obey but we disobeyed, you forbade (ordered not to do) but we decided to do, you reminded but we made each other forget (or we displayed we have forgotten), you made us see but we render each other blind (or we pretended we do not see), you warned us but we exceeded, while it was no right to return you charity like this.
خداوندا! حقیقه تو بما امرکردی ولی ماعصیان کردیم، تونهی کردی کاری نکنیم ولی ما تصمیم گرفتیم انجام دهیم، تومارا یادآوری کردی ولی خودرابفراموشی زدیم ویاهمدیگررابفراموشی وادارکردیم، تومارا درامور زندگی بیناکردی، یاخودرابکوری زدیم ویا همدیگررا کورکردیم، تواخطارکردی ولی ما تعدّی کریم درحالی که سزاوارنبود احسان تراچنین پاسخ دهیم.
اللهمّ انکّ امرتنا فعصینا، ونهیت فما انتهینا، وذکّزت فتناسینا، وبصرّت فتعامینا، وحذّرت فتعدّنا، وما کان ذلک جزاء احسانک الینا.
3-O Allah! O the Master of health, O the Creator of health, O the Provider of health, O the Donor of health, O the most Kind for health, O the most Exceeding in health upon me and all creatures, O the most Gracious in this world and the most Merciful in hereafter! Bless Mohammad and his family and provide us with health; a durable and a full health, and thanks fo health in this world and the hereafter, O the most Merciful of merciful.
یا الله، باولیّ العافیه، یا خالق العافیه، یا رازق العافیه، والمنعم بالعافیه، والمنّان بالعافیه، والمتفضّل بالعافیه علیّ وعلی جمیع خلقک، یارحمن الدنیا والآخره ورحیمها، صلّ علی محمّد وآل محمّد، وارزقنا العاقیه، ودوام العافیه، وتمام العافیه، وشکرالعافیه فی الدنیا والآخره یا ارحم الراحمین.
4-O Allah! Bless Mohammad and his family, and inspire me the knowledge upon me perfectly, and gather all that knowledge for me completely, make me apply what you inspire me, and give me success in the influence of the knowledge you make me understand until I do not fail the application of what you taught me. And do not make my limbs too heavy to perform what you inspired me.
اللهمّ صلّ علی محمّد وآله، والهمنی علم ما یجب علّی الهاما، واجمع لی علم ذلک کلّه تماما، ثمّ استعملنی بما تلهمنی منه، ووفقنی للنفوذ فیما تبصرّنی من علمه حتیّ لا یفوتنی استعمال شیئ غلّمتنیه، ولا تثقل ارکانی عن الحفوف فیما الهمتنیه.
بارالهابرمحمّد وخاندانش درودفرست وعلمیکه برایم واجبست کاملا الهام فرما، وان علم رابرایم تماماً جمع گردان، سپس مرا دربکاربردن علمیکه الهام فرموده ای وادارنما، ودرنفوذعلمیکه آموخته ای موفق گردان، تا بکاربردن آنچه آموخته ای فوت نشود، واندام مرادرانجام آنچه الهام فرموده ای سنگین نگردان.
5-O Allah! After blessing Mohammad and his family, let me have the more shares that your servants receive from you and you send every year at the night of Destiny in the month such as the mercy you spread, the health you cover, the distress you repel, the good deeds you accept, the sins you go beyond them, and provide me with the pilgrimage of your Sacred House in this and all years, and provide me with extensive sustenance from your extensive Grace.
اللهمّ صلّ علی محمّد وآله واجعلنی من اوفر عبادک عندک نصیباً من کلّ خیر تنزله فی شهررمضان فی لیله القدر وما انزلت منزله فی کلّ سنه من رحمت تنشرها، عافیه تلبسها، بلیهّ تدفعها، حسنات تتقبّلها، سیئاّت تتجاوزعنها وارزقنی حجّ بیتک الحرام فی عامی هذاوفی کلّ عام وارزقنی رزقاً واسعاً من فضلک الواسع.
بارالها! با دود برمحمّد وخاندانش برای من بیشترین نصبیکه بندگانت ازتمام خوبیهائیکه درشب قدرماه مبارک رمضان دارند وتو همه ساله ازرحمتیکه پخش میکنی، سلامتیکه میپوشانی، بلیۀه هائیکه دفع مینمائی خوبیهائکه قبول میفرمائی، گناهانیکه ازآنهامیگذری، قراربده. وامسال وهمه ساله حجّ خانه محرمتّ را نصیبم کن وازفضل وسیع خود، روزی وسیع روزیم کن.
6-O my God! Grant me a perfect separation toward you alone, and fill the eyes of our hearts with a kind of light to consider you with which until the eyes of our hearts can tear the veils of lights to connect us with the source of your Greatness and our souls become suspended to the Might of your Holiness.
اللهی هب لی کمال الانقطاع الیک، وانرابصارقلوبنا بضیاء نظرهاالیک ، حتی تخرق ابصارالقلوب حجب النور، فتصل الی معدن العظمه وتصیرارواحنا معلقّه بعزّ قدسک.
خدایا! بمن انقطاع کامل بسوی خودعطاکن، وچشمان قلبمان رابنوریکه باآن بتوان ترامشاهده کرده، دیده بصیرت ما بتواندحجابهای نوررادریده، مارابنورعظمتت متصل نماید وجانهای ما بمقام عزّ قدس تو متعلق گردد.
