Islam In The 21st Century

Say O prophet! Indeed my Lord has prohibited shameful acts whether visible or invisible, sin, injustice with no right, associating with God for which God has sent no proof for it, and saying something against God for which they have no knowledge. Chapter 7: 33

It looks that the narrator is affected with one of the following problems for resorting to such an imaginary article: 

1-He may have no faith in God nor does he believe in the Quran as His word, otherwise how can he take for granted every dishonoring point of regular Muslims against the prophet, while rejecting the Quran as His words and as the prime source for providing right information?

Even God has emphasized that the servants of the Most Gracious never fall down upon the revelations of their Lord as they were deaf and blind when they are reminded. Chapter 25: 73

Considering nature very carefully, not only one would fail to see any disorder, but would be amazed about the excellent discipline in every single part of nature. And such a wonderful harmony in all natural phenomena surely indicates the existence of an Omnipotent, Omniscient Being as the Creator and Planner of the whole world. Have you ever experienced any irregularity in rising and setting celestial bodies? Have you ever seen any disorder in the normal function of flowering plants or yielding fruit-trees, or have you ever noticed any deficiency in regular character of birds for laying egg or any malfunction in animals when they produce their young? Who can manage so perfectly all these natural phenomena other than an Omnipotent, Omniscient God after creating them all?

You will never see in the creation of the Most Gracious, who has created seven heavens in layers, any discrepancy (incongruity); then keep looking, do you see any break (gap)? Looking again and again, your eyes will return to you exhausted and shameful. Chapter 67: 4, 5  

If despite this and many other similar evidences, you are not yet convinced; looking at your own body, which is technically very sophisticated, may persuade you after realizing more than hundreds elaborate works applied within your body in order to live years and years with no headache whatsoever. Do you believe all these greatly detailed works are the job of nature? Can an unintelligent nature make an intelligent human? Can a blind lead another blind to the right way? Can a dead body give birth to a live baby? When the answer to all those questions is negative, the creator of human cannot be other than one  and the only one All-Powerful God.

Those remembering God’s creation most of the time while standing, sitting and lying on their sides and thinking about the creation of the heavens and earth: they would should say, ‘after their deep and  thorough investigation, O Lord! You did not create all those things in vain. Glorification is due to you alone. Chapter 3:191

Therefore to Him belongs everything in the heavens and the earth including the everlasting religion. Could you reverence (regard with deep respect, love and awe) other than God? Chapter 16: 52

2-The second reason why the narrator is involved in such an imaginary article seems that he does not believe in the Quran as the word of God. Does he not believe in the Old and New Testament either to see how magnificently they have described the prophet of Islam?  In addition to various reasons for proving that the Quran is nothing but the word of God, one should go back in 14 centuries ago to realize when there was neither technical advance, nor trace of science nor ethical character among ignorant Arab whose basic life was killing each other, plundering each other’s wealth, taking one another’s wives by force, burying their female babies, and, so on, a prophet form themselves came whose kin family was a magnificent picture of ethics, love and altruism, preferring others before doing anything for themselves just for pleasing God.

They fed a poor man, an orphan boy and a prisoner of war with their sole (one and only) food they had just for pleasing without expecting any reward or thanks from them. Chapter 76:

Although there are many reasons to prove the authenticity of the Quran, to prove it here we name just a few more in different lines of science.

A-Space travelling has been indicated in advance.

Even if We open a gateway of the sky for them through which they keep ascending, certainly they would say, ‘our eyes have been actually intoxicated rather we are bewitched people. Chapter 15: 14, 15

O group of jinn and human if you can penetrate the territories of the heavens and earth, go ahead and do penetrate, but surely you cannot unless with His authority and support. 55: 33

B-The creation of all things in pairs is predicted before being known.

(Far above of all false descriptions and glory for all suitable characters) is He who created all things in pairs such as what the earth grows, and yourselves, and what even you do not know. 36: 36

C-Unity and diversity among fetal cells,

Once one fertilized cell divides quickly and repeatedly to make a mass of absolutely identical cells similar to each other of every respect, three different layers come into play to determine the fate of the various fatal organs. Amazingly out of ectoderm (outer layer) two different come into existence with absolutely different characters. Skin cells replace within one or two days, while brain cells last as long as we live without being replaced. Who can be behind this and hundreds other plans other than an Omnipotent and Omniscient God?

We created you from clay, subsequently from a tiny drop which turns later into a serious sticking, hanging, and sucking blood embryo; then a mass of identical cell with no referring to any organ, and a mass with referring to every organ settled into the wombs until a predetermined time We will. Chapter 22: 5

D-In the line on absolute public justice,

O believers! Be caretakers of absolute justice and fairness, observing God only when you serve as witness even it is against yourself, parents, relatives; whether they are poor or rich; God is more entitled to them, thus you should not follow your wishes to turn away for distort or avoid justice, and you should know that God is indeed well-acquainted in what you do. Chapter 4: 135

Considering these as well as many other amazing points revealed only in the Quran, which are not brought just for briefness, strongly prove that the Quran cannot be the word of any human  but God only.

Believing in God and His final Book, and for clearing the issue at hand, let us now logically and traditionally see whether those whom you have quoted their ideas are right or we who oppose them? And we should know that God has revealed neither you will be asked if we are guilty nor we will be asked if you are right. Chapter 34: 24, 25

Is it wise to expose unaware people to documents not yet endorsed by all sources? In the long run every one will gather the outcome of any effort he has done.

If the case is proved otherwise by reliable source, you will be shameful not only before yourself for looking at the wrong side of the coin, but before others to make them brain washed and  change their beliefs by exposing them to the wrong documents, and also before God to insult Him by proving that His selection for choosing the seal of the prophets was wrong. In other words, you would imply that you know better than God, for this reason you made this article to correct people’s faith.

Those whom you have quoted their words about all marriages of the honored prophet are absolutely wrong and not acceptable, because their wording about every marriage of the prophet is incompatible with the Quran and the remarks of Ahl-al-Beit. God has described the seal of the prophets as a mercy and an illuminating torch for all jinn and human beings, while you and those whom you reflect their words think that the honored prophet’s mind was excessively concerned with women so he married Khadijeh the great to have pleasure living with her wealth, and the same ridiculous story for other wives.  

God the most High has revealed that the prophet of Islam is not alone to be denied and called, impostor, fabricator, or possessed; the previous prophets were also denied by their own people as well, though they had come with clear evidences and far-reaching wisdoms. Chapter 35: 25

Surely pieces of scolding news and far-reaching wisdom came to them, while no warning was effective at all. Chapter 54: 4, 5

In terms of Koranic language those who have been sent by God (His dispatched) are God’s signs, as God made Jesus, the son of Marry and his mother a sign, and accommodated them to a hill as a resting-place with spring water. Chapter 23: 50

Those who disbelieved and denied (disproved) our signs are the people of Hell. Chapter 57: 19

O believers! If a wicked person brought any news to you, you should first investigate, lest you spiritually injure a group of people out of ignorance and become shameful for what you have done. Chapter 49: 6

Whoever kills spiritually anyone who has committed no murder or corruption in land, it would be as if he has killed all people spiritually; and whoever spiritually revives anyone, it is as he has revived all people spiritually. Chapter 5: 32 

You should not follow in which you have no knowledge, surely all faculties such as hearing, eyesight and mind are responsible before God for the way you apply them. Chapter 17: 36

What is the matter with you that you deem no dignity to God whereas we created you in various situations 71: 12

O prophet! Surely We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good news and a warner until   people believe in God and His messenger and assist God with His religion, dignify and glorify Him continuously. Chapter 48: 8, 9

The most important point one should bear in mind is that the mind of ordinary people is always subject to change for a variety of reasons, for instance, their knowledge and faith are in short supply meanwhile both knowledge and faith are liable to change as time passes, therefore no one should trust in them unless it proves otherwise. When the king of Egypt had a strange dream, dream interpreters alleged it is confused dream and there is no interpretation for that; Joseph (AS), on the hand, granted by Devine knowledge interpreted it very correctly.

Moses (AS) and his disciple found one of Our servants whom We had granted special Mercy and taught him a true knowledge of Our own Knowledge, until he can teach Moses what he did not know. Chapter 18: 65

The main question from the narrator is this: Does he believe most people are committed to tell the truths and be honest all the time? If his answer is positive, we should ask him, how does he know people are honest while surely he does not know their intention, whereas God has revealed contrary to his idea?

Most people, no matter how much you desire, do not believe. And most of them do not believe in God unless they associate something with Him? Chapter 12: 103, 106

And if his answer is negative, why did he quote their wrong ideas to make negligent people deeper in their negligence by exposing them with wrong ideas? Have he ever realized that most people were under the influence of their forefathers or their despotic government, therefore no one should rely on their words? 

 Since God is the Origin of all true knowledge, He alone must be qualified to teach man for what he would need in his entire life, because not only is God absolutely Self-sufficient but He is utterly familiar with what man would need that is why He has prescribed Mercy upon Himself. Chapter 6: 12 and 132

Do you believe God does not know whom He has created, while He is very delicate and Well-Acquainted with the creation? Chapter 67: 14

That is why not only He sent His comprehensive Book to guide all His servants need physically and spiritually, but the seal of His prophets was sent as well to explain in detail whatever his contemporaneous people were not able to understand. And his genuine successors, his highly qualified family, were real substitute to shoulder all true guidance after his departure. Therefore the prophet was not alone to shoulder all religion burdens as the Quran has stipulated.

O prophet! Say, ‘this is my way that I and those who strictly follow me invite you to God with clear insight. Impeccability, infallibility and glorification are all due to God only, and to display his serious monotheism, he said, ‘I am not of the polytheists. Chapter 12: 108

As a result, making known the reality of the situation of the honored prophet’s wives to those who have no idea in this respect and are very confused with articles like this, it is necessary to hear the whole truth of the first section of chapter 66 about the personal life of the honored prophet from the comments of the prophet’s highly qualified family.

One should know that both the Holly Quran and the prophet are named “Reminder”, so his family is name “the people of reminder” too. We did not send men before you unless inspiring them before, thus ask the people of Reminder if you do not know the reality of confusing things. Chapter 21: 7

Indeed God has sent to you a “Reminder”, a messenger, to continuously recite the clear signs to you and in order to take, those who believe and do good deeds, from darkness of ignorance into the light of true guidance. Chapter 65: 10, 11

Rejecting that the honored prophet and his highly regarded family are only qualified ones to remove any confusion in religion is considered as a serious insulting because they were selected and endorsed by God’s special Mercy to be good examples for all people to the end of this life. And such rejection means that God’s selection is wrong and people are right in their opinion. Hence one should consider this tangible example to be convinced without objecting that how a prophet and his family must perfectly guide people all around the word while people have enough knowledge to distinguish wrong and right all the time? Actually people had neither in the past nor have at present nor will have in future enough knowledge to distinguish wrong from right. Look at yourself at the moment. Did you know in your childhood the same as you know right now? The same is true that you will have more experience in future than you have right now. Denying this fact means you insist refusing while to know the truth.  

All organs in a human body absolutely depend on vital organs. It is true that the heart perfectly delivers oxygen and all nutrients to other organs to keep them alive. Any heart malfunction will disturb all other organs. But when it fails to do its normal function the whole body including itself will die in a few seconds. Is it possible that body organs, including heart itself, stay alive without receiving oxygen, while heart does not provide oxygen? The lungs are quite necessary to supply enough oxygen. Besides this fact, the heart and lungs cannot adjust their functions automatically to comply with the pressing needs of other organs at any time unless they are checked with a nervous system with its vigilant receptor and effector.  As a result an autonomic nervous system is absolutely required to adjust immediate body requirements at any moment.

Another point one should have in mind is this that milliards cells come into existence from one fertilized egg which is made of one male and female egg.  Out of too many cell to be counted, three layers known as ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm will appear later to make different organs in our body. Of all these cells (people) arising from one male and female (Adam and Eve) just one heart from mesoderm, one nervous system from ectoderm, and two lungs from endoderm come into existence to keep the whole body alive all the time.

If one organ like heart out of many other organs can physically save all of them, why then a man like a prophet out of all people similar to him cannot spiritually save all of them around the globe?

O prophet! Surely We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good news for righteousness, and a warner for evil doers, inviting them to God by His permission; and by being like a light-giving torch, take them out of the darkness of injustice and ignorance into the light of justice and wisdom. Chapter 33, 45, 46

If two lungs resuscitate all organs bodily, including themselves why then Imam Ali (AS) cannot spiritually resuscitate all people while he was resuscitated before by God for this office as Abraham was prepared for his great duties?  

Likewise We show Abraham the intrinsic nature of the heavens and earth (Malakut, the kingdom of heavens) to be one of the convinced (the topmost of certainty). Chapter 6: 75

And if one nervous system with its ramifications (branches) like parasympathetic and sympathetic can adjust all immediate working needs of the body, why then Imams through Fatemah (AS) cannot do away with their own people’s spiritual needs, while they were qualified for this purpose?

And We made of them Imams to continuously guide by Our command because they bear pains patiently and were absolutely convinced about Our signs. Chapter 32: 24

As the heart alone cannot perfectly take care of and the lungs and autonomic nervous system must be there to keep the whole body alive; therefore Imam Ali (AS) and 11 Imams through the honored prophet’s daughter (Fatemah) (AS) are quite necessary to keep the Devine guiding system in force and lasting. 

As we know the heart’s functions are all programmed by God, because no wrong step is seen in its normal functions, why should we think the honored prophet who is also commanded by God to be the best role model has strange life-style?

Is it not odd that instead of getting good lesson from our body to help each other on the right way of life improvement, as God has ordered; disturbing one another spirituality by putting into action our vain desires?  Is it actually our duty to quote any unrealistic claim, and truly forget God’s word as the most reliable place of information?   

Receiving poor oxygenated blood with considerable waste materials from other organs, not only   does the heart reject itself to use it nor does it deliver to other organ but to the lungs for purifying it. Therefore the heart naturally works according to its duties. But unfortunately an intelligent human does not know that he should not poison his own as well as others’ mind by such a poisonous article.

Cancer cells make human body susceptible to a precocious death because by their very odd characters seriously overwhelm tall other cells by plundering their oxygen and nutrients, restricting place for their extraordinary growth, and producing more waste materials for their extra activity. And not only do they fail to help other cells but they fail to keep their own life longer because they cannot survive any more by the death of the body..

O believers! Help one another on the basis of righteousness (believing in God and the Last Day) and devotion (observing God’s commands and forbiddance), but do not help one another on the basis of sin and hostility and be God-fearing, surely God is serious in punishment. Chapter 5: 2

Surely the prophet is an excellent role model for those of you who have hope in God and the Last Day and remember God constantly? Chapter 33: 21

And We did not send you but as a mercy for the whole world. Chapter 21, 107

O prophet! We have not sent you unless to deter (prevent) all people without exception like a bearer of good news for righteousness and a warner against their wrong doings but most people do not know. Chapter 34: 28

With few things said about the honored prophet, it is time to see logically which side is right in idea; those whom the narrator has quoted or I who quote the word of God only?

O prophet! Say none in the heavens and earth knows the secret except God, they even do not know when they will be raised. In fact even by using up their knowledge, still they know nothing about it, actually they are uncertain about it, yet better they are blind to it. Chapter 27: 66, 67

1-If the honored Prophet unlikely was feeling love for women, could he content himself with one wife (Khadijeh the great) for 28 years (15 years before plus 13 years after his mission in Mecca), specially in the prime of his youth? Did you not know that his opponents who had executed his followers and incarcerated him and the rest of his followers for many years in the valley of Abutaleb were looking for any opportunity to make big clamor against him for the least mistake of him, while such uproar against him was unprecedented?

2-During 10 years of the last part of his life the honored prophet had 9 wives while he told them, ‘provided you seek God, His messenger and the life to come to be good role models for other women; surely God has prepared for the righteous of you a great reward, but if you seek this life and all its vanities, then come to provide you with provision and nicely dismiss you by divorce. Chapter 33; 28, 29

As you can see very clearly the life of the honored prophet of Islam with his wives in Medina was not at all for gratification and pleasure but for being charged with great responsibility for the following reasons:

1-If any man is allowed to have 4 wives at a time he has to observe absolute justice as the prophet does with his 9 wives. That is why the honored prophet had problems with his wives because he was treating them with total justice while Ayesheh and hafseh thought they were his preferred ones. Once the honored prophet remembered Khadijeh and felt grief about her before Ayesheh; and she said, ‘Do you not think about me as your young wife, while feeling grief for a very old woman?  She loved, protected and took care of me when no one was concerned about me, the prophet answered.

2-He was permitted to have more than 4 wives to display how believing men should train their wives to be true believers. Despite his serious endeavor in this respect, the history witnesses that Ayesheh, who was not supposed to get out from her house or consult any alien man, she made ready the fight of Jamal against Imam Ali (AS), the true Caliph of Islam after the prophet.   

3-Other than two women who were young, all others were widowed and very old. Zeinab, his aunt’s daughter and Om Salameh were more than 50 year old when they became the prophet’s wives. This point would indicate that the honored prophet was in charge of protecting the widowed. The prevalent custom of Arab before Islam was to marry girls of rich family to get benefit of their heritage. After spending their wealth, they routinely dismissed them by divorce without any mercy.

According to the following verse, God the Most High new that Zeid cannot keep up with Zeinab, despite this fact, He made the messenger to give his aunt’s daughter in marriage to Zeid, his adopted son. Despite insisting to keep his wife, Zeid divorced her, and God gave her in marriage to the prophet to indicate that in Islam, contrary to the rules of ignorance era, people can marry their sons’ widowed.

When you (O prophet!) said (Zeid) upon whom God had blessed for being Muslim, and you did a favor for adopting him as your son and making your aunt’s daughter (Zeinab) his wife, he would like to divorce her after fulfilling his wishes with her, but you told him to hold fast your wife and fear God. And you were concealing in yourself for fear of people to criticize you that Zeinab will be your wife finally, whereas God will disclose it, and He deserves more that you fear Him. So We joined her in wedlock as your wife in order that believers know they can marry their adopted son’s widowed, and the command of God is always done. Chapter 33: 37

No one would withhold whatever God opens the gate of Mercy upon people; and whatever He withholds, no one other than Him would send it forth; for He is Almighty, All-Wise. Chapter 35: 2

The last message

Thinking today is the last day of your life, do you still insist in what they have said erroneously about the honored prophet of Islam, and what would be your answer before God on the Day of Resurrection? To warn us to be cautious, God, the Most High has revealed these:

 He utters no word but there will be a prospective observer. Chapter 50: 18

This is Our record, telling the truths. We have been transcribing whatever you have been doing. Chapter 45: 29                  

In three different places, chapter 7, 11 and 26; the Most Merciful God has emphasized that people should give full measure and full weight for things or every persons, and no one should depreciate the moral or physical value of them, and they should not make corruption on earth after its reform. It is much better for you if only you are believers. Chapter 7: 85

Why do you not think about this fact that God has applied all His concern to make a world absolutely perfect of physical aspect for His creatures, is it possible that he might have made mistake for choosing the seal of His prophets who is to guide people around the world?

Since God, the Most Compassionate has commanded the messenger to have perseverance despite all difficulties, truly the promise of God is true, and let not those who did not reach the top-level of certainty disdain your dignity. Chapter 30: 60

 That is why we tried to tell nothing but the truth lest those who are not certain disdain us.

And the Peace will be upon him who follows the guidance. Chapter 20, 47
