Why should praise God
The soul, the vital part of human body, which the Most Gracious God has granted us, is in charge of making it alive and active for us to do whatever we would decide. On the other hand; God, the Most Compassionate has made our nature in a way to automatically desire whatever is in our interest only. But of course, it depends on him to decide whether the real beneficial things or the attractive and false ones. That is why God (Allah), the Most High and far above what we describe Him (SWT) has made us on the basis of three basic characters of self-love, loving good things, and caring about the real things which are routinely absent to our senses. While God, the Most Merciful has put our primitive nature to choose and apply all those things compatible with our nature, He has made a direction line through His messenger how we should apply our primitive nature. Applying the original characters though are necessary to our mental growth and the perfection of our behaviors, they should be adjusted by the Devine rules to be most beneficial. Otherwise going beyond whatever we need not only is detrimental to our individual but our social comfort as well. Denying Devine instructions will hold us back from reaching our real goal and pleasing God. As you know, we have no choice but to live with one another, and we are made to desire nothing but the best, and we should care about nothing but the real things. Being conscious to please God and improve our individual and social life-style full of real comfort; we have no choice but to adjust the innate characters with Devine instructions sent down through prophets. Otherwise competitive struggle with other fellow-creatures just for our individual interests will bring about nothing but a great misery for the society we live.
Surely man is created very impatient (very uneasy) on any condition. Very restless, when adversity touched him; and very stingy (frugal), when blessing touched him. Chapter 70: 19-21
“Surely We dispatched Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down the Book and the scale with them in order that people uphold fairness.” 57: 25
In their social life people routinely treat themselves and each other in four different levels.
1-When people oppress themselves as well as others
Justice is the lowest level of such treatment in which people should consider the right of others on equal terms.
2-Fairness is the higher level in which the true right of people should be considered.
3-But the highest level which the Almighty considers most of time is “beneficence”
“Seek the future abode through what Allah has given to you without neglecting you share of this world and be beneficent as Allah was beneficent to you too and do not seek corruption on earth; surely Allah does not love corruptors.” 28: 77
“If two groups of believers fight with each other, you should reconcile them. But if one two oppressed the other one, you should fight against the oppressor until it returns to the command of Allah. Then if it returned, reconcile between them with justice but act in fairness, truly Allah loves those who are fair.” 49: 9
Suffice it to display at least one of the symptoms of Allah’s beneficence to see how benefactor He is. In fact, beneficence means doing good things in the best possible way not just for himself but for others as well.
“This is the manufacture of Allah who has perfected everything.” 27: 77
